fukked up cuz daylyt was sayin since day 1 "mike somethin gonna go wrong with our footage let's not celebrate yet"

:ohhh: how Quill know

He's always making excuses for something. The battle was weak and his performance wasn't special at all. He's not a top tier battler.

Putting he cant speak about his pay is illegal. Theres a reason big companies dont want you to say what you're getting paid, so other people wont ask for better pay. Its still illegal for companies to fire you or discipline you for saying it.

fukk, you're right. National Relations Labor Act does allow it.

:mjcry:

Mook fukked it up still.

Watching Con/Surf again (crazy its been 4 years already)

Con 2-1 clear now. His second and third was just too much. The personals, the flips.

"Last time you put work in the pen you were bold then"
"SLOW IT DOWN... the last time you put work in the pin you were bowling"

Surf tried to expose him with the Brooklyn shyt which flopped, and he started off with that pause "you had your dikk on another man's head" scheme AND brought it back 3 times and it still didn't hit.

Then the third with Con hitting him with the exposal and the bars after bars. That military scheme in the third :whew:

The only thing Surf had the whole battle was the Pau/Howard scheme which won him the first, and "pass the glock to Foxx" in the third.

People really think Surf won this :dead::heh:

Then he's doing the same thing. They both underwhelmed, editing doesn't have anything to do with performance
nikka what :what:

if the editing doesn't show that the crowd was loud as hell and causing the battlers to stop, when WE see the footage and the crowd noise isn't there it's gonna look like they were stopping for no reason or possibly forgetting their bars, which makes their performance look bad

Agreed. PPV numbers or attendance would make sense. Just trying to think of ways to guarantee effort everytime out.

It can be quantified by polls though.

There's also a direct correlation between effort and revenue.

Meaning the NFL will incentivize wins. Passing yards. TDs etc because star players and winning teams draw more revenue.

UFC will do fight of the night. Knock out of the night. Submission of the night etc to incentivize effort as well.

I agree it's harder to accurately quantify in battle rap.

Unless we they can agree on a commission and scoring system to actually judge rounds. It's just so subjective it's near impossible to do.

No it can't.

There's a simple solution. If you don't show up prepared you don't get booked next event or you take a pay cut. If people stopped booking Rex he'd realize he has to write to get paid. Book hungry guys like Ave and Rum for the big stage. Put cards together based on merit not just names.

It always was clear :what:

So Rum vs Ty Law going down on UDubb. I think them nikkas are average but that's a nice match up, as both of them have cringworthy wordplay.

I like this battle better on a platform like RBE or Black Ice.

U Dubb is a joke.

I'm telling you guys right now. That UDubb event & that Mr Fab event are going to be trash.

Does anyone else wonder how much longer battle rap will keep your attention? It's in a weird space. The top tier guys, the talent that got us interested are trash. The newer talent don't really have the "it" factor and have too many similarities.
