I don't get what folks don't understand about that. If you thought the movie was bad because of storytelling, pacing, editing, etc cool but thinking a dark movie is bad because it's dark is just dumb.

Which is my main contention. If you have legitimate technical issues with the film whether it's pace or editing or narrative cool I can respect that and appreciate that. But I've read so much shyt hampering on the tone and how it shouldn't be this tone etc and that's bad critical analysis. Judge something for what it is and how it accomplishes what it sets out to do or doesn't. But to bash a movie because of its tone is bugged out to me. The movie is what it is

The way they introduced the characters.
Through a fukking viral video and they started introducing them at a odd point in the film.
Those were my main gripes with the film!
The good was mostly the action and the dark take on it. Oh...and Batfleck
Superman when he starts fighting was good and Wonder Woman was great.

Yo honestly this is why ALL reviewers apart from a very select few are nothing more than just glorified bloggers stating their opinion on things. Seriously, their weight in text is about the same as what a reddit user will type up and in many instances even less. The people on IMDB like it, the people on rotten tomatoes like it and from all that I have started to read the negatives are NOT justified AT ALL. What a fukking disaster from a "journalistic" point of view.
Ben Affleck did fine as Batman as well. In fact, I might go again to inflate the total numbers at the end of the day just to get them even angrier. I hope it hits 5 billion worldwide.

Yeah looking at things chronologically the reviews don't even make sense and I must discredit. I would understand if the tone changed drastically from dark and grim to happy go lucky superman.
I'll be honest with you breh people have a very tough time accepting change, but these last 2 superman movies have been dope as fukk to me. I appreciate the dark tone that was set and they stuck with it. Hopefully it keeps setting records so they can have Batman straight up murder politicians he disagrees with in the next movie to annoy people "reviewers" even more.

While I have read review who had legit problems with the movie, you can't deny that there are just as many that simply don't like the movie because it isn't in the same tone as Marvel.
