fukk it, here you go:

superman motivation - struggling with and trying to decide if he wants to be the jesus like hero the world shows him as and projects on him
batman motivation - only sees superman as an alien and wants to stop the alien before the alien turns on mankind...thinks he's doing what's best for mankind
lex motivation - only cares about power, control, and superiority....that's why most his speeches revolve around those things, especially the speech he gives superman on the roof...anyway, since he's envious and scared of superman's power, superiority, the jesus like image, and that he can't control him, he wants him taken out and his image ruined....that's why he fans the flames to push batman to try and take superman out...at the same time, if he gets superman to kill batman instead, that ruins the jesus like image...like he said 'if one is all powerful, he cant be all good; and if one is all good, he cant be all powerful'...and just in case he cant get those 2 to do what he wants, he creates doomsday as a backup plan with a lil urging from the kryptonian ship, i.e. brainiac
flash - didn't come through the computer, he came through a wormhole, probably from the speed force...anyway, he was from a different time/dimension trying to warn batman about something...the problem was, he came at the wrong time...that's why he said 'am I too soon? i'm too soon'

anymore questions?
OK I'll take the bait.

So I guess Supes decided he was Jesus for no reason. He didn't have to die, just decided to . lol
His motivation was stopped by one word "Martha"? "Hey dude, no way! That's my Mom's first name to! Let's be buds."
What was his plan say after Doomsday killed all the heroes like he wanted? Die with the rest of humanity?
Oh a wormhole, does Anyone besides readers of comics know he can do that? Why doesn't he try to comeback at the right time so what he says makes sense to Batman? He knows Bruce Wayne is Batman already to?

The 'Go
It's like folks can't fathom that people have different opinions on this movie :heh:

If you hate it, you're a marvel stan
If you love it, you're a DC stan

Like damn some people just straight like or hate this film, no stanning involved

Is there a lot of deeeeep DC universe stuff in this that the average viewer might have trouble following? Yes, I believe so.. and in a way that's an issue for sure BUT I wouldn't want those scenes taken out. They will be more fleshed out in the extended cut so maybe that will help the average person but I was going crazy seeing some of that and looking forward to what they got planned, what's on deck.

I take umbrage with a lot of the critics because most of the reviews I read were that they hated the movie because it wasn't the Donner Superman (same shyt as Man of Steel all over again) or they hated it because they wanted more humor.. which this wasn't going to have. I will say that my theater laughed quite a few times at some of the quips especially in the final act.

DC and WB: :whoa: "Sorry to hear that you guys didn't like the movie. It was too long and a lot of it didn't make sense but watch the 3 hour extended cut and it'll all make perfect sense. Trust us."

:camby:

Most of the negative reviews said it was 20-40 minutes too long so why revisit and watch a 3 hour cut of a movie you don't like? How about cutting the theatrical version so it makes sense to the average viewer and throw the extra fanboy stuff in the extended cut.

Yall gotta stop with the humor angle. I read/watched a ton of reviews (from comic nerds not "critics") and the lack of humor wasn't high on the list of critiques.

Pacing
Editing
Bad CGI
Lex
Lois
Superman being wooden
Too long
Forcing the Justice League in

There's a ton of issues they addressed but you guys keep focusing on humor because it takes the critique off of BvS as a film and directs to something else? What the "something else" is I won't say:sas2:

most would say that if you loved MoS, then you'd love this. Well, I LOVED MoS, but this shyt is some
I feel the same way. I loved Man of Steel but this just mostly fell flat. It was like watching somebody do the same magic trick twice and the second time you know how they did it.

This movie is made in the same mold as Man of Steel but they doesn't really work a second time around. Excessively long set up sequence for the first 2/3rds of the movie then the last 1/3 is a epic city destroying fight sequence.

:mjlol:thats the excuse. When it comes reforging alien material, hacking in to corporate computers and uncovering a conspiracy Batman is of sound mind. But when he has to decide to do something and it doesnt make sense, he's crazy...:mjlol:

So many daps though :wow:

I knew this movie would suck and I feel vindication. I'm satisfied. Even the people coppin pleas struggle to find proper excuses. I read all of the spoilers. I know I won't like it. I may not even watch a proper rip.

Am I the only one that cheated on the trailers? I got TMNT & the 1st Civil War trailer and that was it.
The first time I saw it had the Civil War and X-Men trailers.
Second time I saw it they only showed Ghostbusters and horror movie trailers.

But thats just it... its a GOOD movie.

Its kinda like that saying they saying about Vince McMahon.... he's a millionaire who should be a billlionaire..... well BvS is a good movie that shouldve been an epically GREAT movie.

We still talk about Spiderman 2, people still talk about Blade, people still talk about Avengers and Ironman.... people still talk about TDK and will forever.

People still talk about The Matrix, T2, Godfather, etc.....

No one will be talking about this movie a decade from now

Its a good movie now.... but time will be very cruel to it my friend

giphy.gif
I disagree with that point...just for how polarizing it is people will still be talking about it.

Watched this last night...

I went to the theater with lowered expectations due to the horrible reviews...I've seen plenty of 30% rotten movies and this was definitely not that kind of movie...After watching the movie these awful reviews are baffling...Putting this film in the same class as Green Lantern and Batman and Robin is being criminally dishonest to the point one has to wonder if there is an agenda against this film...

Is BVS perfect? far from it...It dragged at certain points, was poorly edited and certain things like mad max batman and a giant alien space ship in central park made no fukking sense...That said this was a good enjoyable superhero movie with outstanding acting performances and intense CGI action scenes...Batflec, Gadot and Cavill were great...Even Eisenberg did a superb job, yea I said it...Dude was a convincing psychopathic villain, the problem with Eisenberg is they called him Lex Luthor...The kids got crazy acting ability with a lot of range and he showed it off big time in this movie...It's a shame they wasted that ability casting him for a roll that simply does not fit him...Would have made a great Riddler IMO but Lex Luthor he simply is not...

Anyways if I had to rate this film on a scale 1-10
