what you think of it is what you think, but I do want to correct 1 thing you said:

the people's motivations were made perfectly clear and made plenty of sense...
Are you a comic book reader? I ask because as a non-reader that spoiler you quoted absolutely made no sense. Reading this thread and seeing people say he's from an alternate universe; how is the average movie goer supposed to realize that? He says Lois is the key but again, people in this thread are referring to her role in the alternate universe that most of the general public know nothing about. Batman's motivation was clear and so was Diana's. Lex's not so much. And him knowing everyone's identity was....different to say the least.

there a couple things that a bit weak in the logic department

lex even making dooms day ... the guy hates superman cause he views him as a false god and that god can never be pure.. but he creates a god in doomday :stopitslime:

2 superman and the african war lord ... did he die ... did he not die :ohhh:\

3 why did the government leave a alien ship in the heart of the city :francis:

1. I get the rationale, but the execution didn't do it for me because it fails in COMIC BOOK logic (not actual logic but something that would of made sense in the comic books). It would of made PERFECT sense to create Bizzaro and be a bit true to the comic origin. Bizzaro is afterall a Superman Frankenstein. And having that with Luthor having control would made logical sense. Especially through using Zod's dead body to create Bizzaro. I understand WHY they went with Doomsday because they want to tie it in with the Death of Superman story.... but if they were to have Doomsday in it, they should of have it LIKE in the comic... a being that emerged from the Earth when 1st introduced to wreck havoc. They already established the existence of metahumans anyway and Lex at the end of the film stated that he accidentally sent a beacon that wakens these demons to come, so Doomsday could easily be one of those that was awakened and already on Earth. (You could even tie-in the Supergirl MoS prelude story into it where the other dude could of evolved to become Doomsday).

As for Luthor's intentions, his hatred of Superman is due to a superiority complex. So, if he built himself his own Antichrist, he feel that by his own creation he can kill God and be a savior of humanity. I get the reason, but the execution made little sense to me... because if this was Bizarro, Luthor could of easily have him in some kind of control. Doomsday... there's NOTHING hinting to him being under any control except to rampage havoc.

2. It is strongly implied that he's dead. If he was alive it would of be mentioned. But from the reports, everyone was killed.

3. This is more of a common sense question more than anything. How can anyone of them be able to MOVE the ship elsewhere? We know from the droid that the ship is only 30% operational. And even with that, you have to have break the Kryptonian fingerprint encryption. And the only way for that is to get the Kryptonite from Luthor. So, basically... THEY COULD NOT MOVE SHIP. They couldn't do back in MoS when it was stuck at the Arctic region.

yea, i'm a comic book reader, but I wasnt talking about his spoiler with my post...I was talking about where he said their motivations didn't make sense....the movie laid out each character's motivation for doing what he/she was doing and it made perfect sense....you don't have to read comic books to understand it....

You criticize the critics then point out/agree with some of the main reasons why it got criticized in the first place.

You can't have it both ways bruh. :russ:
Age of ultron had MAJOR pacing issues with scenes making 0 sense in context and a terrible villain yet I don't see those being held it against the film as harshly.

You can enjoy a film while finding faults with it. Difference is some people went into the film wanting to hate it and use some legit critiques as a way to hide their bias.

If you think Nolan's action was anywhere close to what Batman was doing in this movie then I gotta :russ: u out ya damn mind lol

The batmobile/vehicle scenes in Nolan's movie were way better than in this movie.

The batmobile chase seriously bailed in comparison visually to the scene in the The Dark Knight where they flipped the truck.

Besides him fighting the goons, which is one scene that looked good, that nightmare fight scene was some sci-fi channel looking shyt.

His fight versus superman was knock out of Neo V.s. Agent Smith, how many walls can they throw each other through lol. Superman has super speed and strength, but can't subdue batman in seconds before he can even draw his krptonite gun or upon his arrival, when at the beginning of movie he kills the african in a second without a thought lol.

he still had kryptonite in his system and wasn't fully recovered...it's the reason he ran towards batman and didn't fly, which gave batman time to get the gun again
