North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Ok brehs I'm officially not paying to see this movie.

I'm riding home from work listening to ESPN sports radio and the host on a sports talk show is ripping this. 29% is 29%. That many people can't be wrong. But I was going to see it tomorrow anyway. Then it hit me.

When it comes to villians DC shyts all over Marvel. (Ras, Bane, Joker, Zod). It's not even close.

The problem I have is the heros have been so fukking weak and should easily lose to the villain but because the hero has to win the writers basically make sure the hero wins due to plot convience to the point that it's insulting. The writers consistently insult my intelligence and logic.

Which brings me to this movie. For one Zod shouldn't have been killed in the first fukking place. Then you expect me to believe humans can perfect alien technology in less than 2 fukking years :mindblown: even humans in those transformers movies didn't start doing it until the forth damn movie (even though they wrote some bullshyt about transformer technology inventing all modern human tech :mjpls:)

This movie was rushed and thrown together. They expect people to pay for symbols, explosions, name recognition, costumes and CGI). They ain't learn nothing from their past mistakes. I didn't see the last transformers movie, I never went to see the last James Bond flick and I'm not paying to see this bullshyt movie.

Big up on this thread for putting me over the 27,000 dap plateau thou :blessed:

Second viewing. Even better. I can only believe subconsciously most wanted an Avengers clone and were upset when Marlo Snyder let them know it was the other way.

There is some agenda, why is the media trying their hardest to make sure that everyone knows they think the movie is bad , and making all these articles about how it's such a failure and seemingly trying to make the movie fail financially . Even prior to the movies launch they were saying the same things . How come they don't treat say the ninja turtle or transformer movies the same ?

If there's an agenda why didn't it appear during Nolan's run? Critics seemed to love those movies.

How are critics trying to make the movie flop? They're just posting reviews. They're not protesting in front of theaters stopping people from buying tickets. BvS has a C grade on imdb and RT so clearly it's not resonating with the audience either.

Don't act like Transformers and Ninja Turtles are on the same level of pop culture as Superman and Batman:comeon:. You have two of the most iconic characters in America together in one movie and expectations are through the roof.

"One of those types". You fan boys are coming up with every and any excuse why someone might not have liked this piece of shyt movie.

I don't care about fan boy-ism....I'm just being straight up that you are someone that like their superhero films with a lot of humor and lighthearted fun. By the mere fact you said Ant-Man and Deadpool to which are both meant to be action comedies and a completely different type of film in comparison just cements that you one of those similar to how the critics want their superhero films to be.

only wanna comment on the bolded part:

this movie was far from 1. rushed and 2. thrown together....

1. so far, the DCMU is following the comics, just like marvel followed their comics to set up their movie universe, and that's all we can ask for as fans....

2. there are so many small details he put into this movie for the characters, it shows zack and co did their homework...details that you catch if you just watch the movie for what it is and not what you want it to be...

...i'm not saying that to get people to like it...people only watch movies for them, so whether they like it or not is cool....but I will correct people when they make shyt up....

Just got back. This shyt was wack. 3/10

Whoever wrote this needs to interact with more people to know how their thoughts connect to their actions. People's motivations in this made no fukking sense.

Jumping into the dream sequence and then Flash appearance through the computer was laughably bad. It made no sense whatsoever.

what you think of it is what you think, but I do want to correct 1 thing you said:

the people's motivations were made perfectly clear and made plenty of sense...

i think henry cavil can pull off a fun superman or at least one who more happy with him self

he very funny and upbeat in his media appearances

i hope when he comes back to life at some point in man of steel 2/3 he can be okay with himself and be the beacon superman suppose to be

this felt like a great batman movie weaved in to an okay superman movie

the batman stuff and the affleck detective stuff is really good

even him doing prep time to be strong enough to handle the iron bat stufff

the cops and sex workers/victims being scared to death of him was good

I always dislike this criticism... no offense to you, but I do not like a ONE-DIMENSIONAL Superman. It is mainly why I never been such a Superman fan because of that. I love this angle that they took showing OTHER PEOPLES views on Superman and using a real-life hypothetical question as to how we as a society or how the world would react if JESUS actually was among us right now? So, most of how Superman is viewed is seen by other people's perspectives. The times when it is in his perspective, it is just like Jesus if you know or read the New Testament. Jesus himself had doubts, he was didn't want to carry the burden of humanity on his shoulders. He had haters and conspirators against him. I fukks with that parallel, because in the end the entire world recognizes each one of them has Superman within them.

I think Superman is the most misunderstood character in this.... mainly because we're so distracted by the badassness of Batman and how Wonder Women can through in the 4th quarter that we just ignore or not recognize that this is a theologian allegory of the Passion of Christ to where Luthor is Lucifer, Doomsday serving as the Antichrist, and Batman is the atheist. And the sake of humanity is in limbo as to how to react to God in man's image. So, these conflicts put weight on someone like Superman... I would of HATE IT if he did not have these concerns and come off as (no pun intended) alien to how the world sees him. Everything action and choice he makes comes with a consequence and now he's feeling that.

Just saw the movie..........:whoo:......it was lit but my only gripes.........first 40 min cohesion was :why:. I felt all the scenes could have been there just in a slightly different order and the plot wouldn't have felt convoluted to many. Idk who was editing the movie must have been wearing these dame shades:dame:. Anyway, again :whoo:..., Heard people legit crying at those ending scenes. My theater was clappin like strippers in KOD on all star weekend at the end of the movie...................with all that being said, I think if DC feels they need to shake things up for JL I would move snyder to the Executive producer of the JL movies and get George miller or whoever so these movies will not be so divisive anymore:huhldup:. I enjoyed the hell out of it though but I can see where people can have differing opinions. Me n my bro trying watch it again:lolbron:

LASTLY, why is this at 30% :what:, this movie should be nowhere near that.......anyway May 5th is coming too :blessed:

That Ninja Turtles movie is like 21% on RT. It made almost 500mil on a 125 mil budget. Transformers has a 57%, made 700mil.
This movie will not fail financially:comeon:
