Just saw the movie. As a whole it was a piece of shyt but the endgame was excellent. The Batman vs Superman fight was great and Wonder Woman stole the show. My problem is up until the end game it was a boring movie. It works best as a brainless action flick.

Kinda hate I saw the civil war trailer before hand Cuz I hadn't watched that either

This movie is about to make 400 million so obviously someone is going.

How are they gonna say "that's not batman, or that's not Superman" when they most likely never seen a show or read about them regardless...

Because if they did, they would've understood that this shyt ain't new and even if it was there's always new adaptations

I will say this to you and really mainly to all the cats in here that keep saying

"bu bu bu but you need to read the comics..... bu bu bu bu but of course this isnt based on the traditional Batman and Superman this is based on the New 52-Earth 6-Galaxy 5-Universe 15-Dimension Neptune etc Batman Superman...... duh"

If this is really what they are going for, I do feel like in the marketing they shouldve did a better job educating people on that. Like even as shytty as F4 reboot was..... they did atleast do a great job preparing folks and saying "now wait a minute folks, just to let you know this aint your F4 that you love and grew up to, this is something different"

I think that wouldve helped people take this a little bit more different and get it vs a lot of shyt just hit them in they face.



Sidenote.... I wanna talk about the reveals. After thinking about it again.... I get that DC trying so hard to do the ANTI MARVEL thing.... but looking back... I really think it wouldve been more effective if they did that scene either after the credits or at worse during the end of the movies ..... ummmm "special ending" (dont wanna spoil the outcome for peeps who still aint seen it).

Like to place it right there during the final battle part really didnt bring anything to the movie and it kinda just got lost and felt like what it was.... meaningless and a "throwaway" moment vs something thats supposed to be epic.

I bet if you put that same scene after really at the end of the movie.... then credits roll..... then maybe mid or after credits we go back to the "last scene with Bruce and Diana and they have the conversation that they had..... everyone would've left more like

Was that Flash in one of those Bats flashbacks telling him about Lois? I guess the desert vision was the result of her dying and him going Injustice Gods Amongst Us mode. Real ballsy if they decide to go that way.

He was. The one right after the desert vision i believe. Biggest prob i would see with them taking the injustice route is ppl already don't care much for superman. So i can't see them caring much for a dictator supes. They need to get the masses to like him so the swerve will be on some hulk to holHollywood hogan type impact.

I was listening to sports talk radio last night(Freddie Coleman Show) and some dude called in talking about the NCAA Tournament.Right before he got off the line, he just randomly goes "Oh and BTW, DON'T go see Batman vs Superman.It's a horrible film"

That's why I don't understand the people criticizing that Bruce scene at the end on some "So he just knows something bad is coming for no apparent reason?". It's like did you watch the movie

A lot of shyt people have issue with (not saying everything) was explained or hinted at IN the movie FFS.

My problem was the exact opposite. Why does Bruce say he has just a feeling when he had a goddamn vision and a warning from a person from the future.

But I think that casual brehs probably have no fukking idea that the vision and warning are setting up Darkseid and believe they just refer to Bats' fear for an evil Superman, and that's why they don't get it.
