I don't think people are talking about this movie in particular being rushed, just the franchise as a whole. We got Man of Steel as the first movie of the new DC lineup, and now the sequel is gonna have both Batman and Wonder Woman in it. Just feels like they're taking all these shortcuts to have a Justice League movie asap to get that Avengers money.

You can hate on the way Marvel did their individual super hero movies, but that shyt WORKED. Batman will be ok with debuting in the MOS sequel cuz the Nolan movies are still in recent memory (even tho it's a different Batman). Wonder Woman would've been better off IMO with her own debut movie first. It could actually be dope if done right. Just focus more on the amazon stuff and Greek mythology background that Hollywood has been so in love with this past decade.

Like dude said in this thread, the average person won't know shyt about Wonder Woman and probably couldn't name more than two of her villains.
The average person doesn't need to have an encyclopedic knowledge of 70 years of Wonder Woman continuity...the average person just knows Wonder Woman on sight and that is enough for her to make an appearance in this movie. Marvel had no choice but to do the long game of introducing each character individually because no one knew who the fukk Iron Man, Thor or even Captain America were.
WB/DC has more leeway with their big three characters because they are more recognizable on sight and have been culturally relevant with the masses for much longer than Marvel's characters.

Whoa..... I disagree to a bit...... Everyone knew who Ironman, Thor, and Cap were..... They just prolly didn't know as deep of their backgrounds and history ala a Superman, Spider-Man, Batman.

I think to a degree Wonderwoman falls into the same category as people will know her on sight but not her history.

I also think that cats are over analyzing her possible presence in the movie..... I'm not sure if all she has is a cameo teaser type thing...... But I doubt she will have a role larger than Catwoman in TDK

Jason Momoa is in negotiations to join the cast of the untitled Batman-Superman movie being made by Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
Zack Snyder is directing the Man of Steel follow-up, which is quickly turning into a who’s who of DC superheroes as Momoa joins Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Israeli supermodel and relative newcomer Gal Godot as Wonder Woman.

I have read theories for who Momoa is playing that ranges from Doomsday to Metallo to Martian Manhunter to Lobo to Black Adam to even Lex Luthor.
Honestly aside from casting news and the placeholder title there is really jack shyt that anyone knows about what the storyline for this movie is.

Momoa as Doomsday or Bizarro would work because Lex Luthor would never go toe to toe with Superman, instead he'd have someone else get their hands dirty. And using his mind and money coupled with Kryptonian tech to create a weapon against Superman fits with the character.

Joaquin Phoenix Sought for Batman vs. Superman Role!

Variety reports that Warner Bros. is very keen on casting the Herstar for Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman vs. Superman, likely in the role of the sequel's central villain, which has long been rumored to be Lex Luthor.

Batman vs. Superman will feature the return of Henry Cavill as Superman, facing off against Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne. In addition, the film will mark the big screen debut of Wonder Woman as played by Gal Gadot.

Following a brief break from acting as part of the preparation for his quasi-documentary I'm Still Here, Phoenix returned to the big screen for Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master last year. In addition to Spike Jonze's Her, which hits theaters in a limited release this week, Phoenix can be seen coming up in Anderson's Thomas Pynchon adaptation, Inherent Vice.

Production on Batman vs. Superman will begin early next year at the Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac where it will occupy all seven sound stages on the lot in addition to several locations around the state. Also starring Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne, the Zack Snyder-directed Batman vs. Superman hits theaters on July 17, 2015.
