I thought the movie was pretty good. Super hero movies must be the hardest to make...these characters already have fans of all ages and everybody has their own opinion of what the movie SHOULD be. It's not like creating brand new characters and you can do whatever the fukk you want. I liked it and think its a good intro to Justice League.

People been so dumbed down by the years of Marvel movies that it's hard to push the intellectual boundaries more.

lmao GTFO. what is this movie about? NOTHING. there's no symbolism, depth or greater commentary. the rift between batman and superman is based on absolutely nothing ideological. the film raises questions about heroism - ridiculous questions - and doesn't even bother answering them. "does the world need a superman?" yea... in case the world is ever attacked by a giant alien obviously, sure.

it's a dumbed down flick for a dumbed down audience. if this is what constitutes as high art then civil war is on par to be citizen kane. :mjlol:

He said at least ant man was entertaining and a good flick. I'm disagreeing with him. Especially when compared to this flick. You can still love it son lol

If you did not see the symbolic debate of GOD vs MAN or it being a biblical analogy to the passion of Christ (especially it conveniently released on Good Friday)... you COMPLETELY lost.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Lex didn't count on Batman having a shot against Superman...his orders were for Superman to go to Gotham, kill Batman and come back with his head.
how did lex know who batman was the entire time? couldn't he just have had him killed at the party? or exposed him? why did flash says it's all about lois and then batman never do anything involving lois?

He wanted Superman to kill him to both expose Superman and kill Batman at the same time. The Flash thing will pop up in later films I guess.

symbolic debate :dead:

it's a good thing lex luthor literally spells it out and calls the final fight "god vs man" otherwise no one would have figured it out.:heh:

I have to disagree. Antman was better than this. Off top it was at minimum just as entertaining and it had a coherent and focused storyline which puts it above. If you don't think it was entertaining then that's another thing. But I believe it was. Every time BvS started getting good it would jump to another scene to try to half ass giving depth.

Crazy that a movie about antman was better than a movie starring batman and superman.
Antman was so boring and the fight with him and yellow jacket ended in a blink, but I usually don't like origin films because I'm an impatient fukk which is why I liked this film :pachaha:
