You're the first person I heard say SS will suck

Dude!!:dwillhuh:

I think you misunderstood what I said!:francis:

When I said "SS will push down" I was referring to the impact it will have on the positioning of BvS.

So say this was ranked 5 in the top 5 DC films

I was actually anticipatedly giving SS it's preprops saying it will knock this movie out of top 5 or further down the list :what:

That shyt was actually pretty ridiculous. They was sitting in a room and like how we gonna introduce everybody :why:

Oh shyt lets just put them all in a email :gladbron:

The movie wasn't 30% RT bad but these nikkas really dropped the ball, especially for having pushed this shyt back.

It should have been The Dark Knight level....maybe Avengers

However, they made some decisions that took them off that path...

Still better than a bunch of comic book movies out the last 8 years :ehh:

All this movie did was remind me that i could give a fukk if Batman or Superman get another movie
They should just play the animated series every 6 months in theaters
The epitome of bland white folk shyt

The critics are retarded, the movie was solid. Ben Affleck is arguably the best Batman to date. I loved the different take on Lex Luthor, dude was actually scary. When Wonder Woman came in, the whole theater clapped, such a great moment. I give it a 7.5/10, still doesn't top the GOAT Dark Knight. :manny:

I have to disagree. Antman was better than this. Off top it was at minimum just as entertaining and it had a coherent and focused storyline which puts it above. If you don't think it was entertaining then that's another thing. But I believe it was. Every time BvS started getting good it would jump to another scene to try to half ass giving depth.

Crazy that a movie about antman was better than a movie starring batman and superman.
Nah fam.

Ant man is a nice movie you could watch and enjoy :ehh:

Its flaws don't stick out like BvS.

The good in BvS far outweigh its fukkups though. The highlights are enough to put it past Ant Man imo.

As I said before time will tell though.

If 5 years from now Ant Man is on and brehs are:ld:

Then again it depends on what you like to watch.

I mean Yellow Jacket might be worth watching 5 years from now...who knows :patrice::manny:

Yeah......it's a 7 or an 8 for me. Solid movie. I saw people saying it was on Fantastic Four/Batman and Robin and was nowhere close to that. My only problem was Batman intentionally killing, but what the hell.......he's done it in every other movie.

Movie was a 7.5/10, 7 at worst. It had its flaws and definitely could have been better but was honestly enjoyable as fukk and had good performances, action, writing, and visuals

The problems I did have with the movie:
. Pace sometimes being ruined by boring irrelevant shyt like anything Lois related :camby: The politics bullshyt :camby: albeit it was necessary it was a little too much. The Lex conspiracy also felt out of rhythm with the rest of the movie but also necessary. The whole "god" thing was also overkill
. The fight between Batman and Superman was fantastic but why did Supes wait til the end to spell out Lex's plan to Bruce :dahell: Whole fight seemed stupid once Batman realized what was going on
. First and second acts of the movie really weren't action-intensive and was entirely setup for the 3rd act which I can see why would leave some people distraught
. There was something off with the focus and storytelling in the second act, I can't quite put my finger on it :jbhmm:I'll have to re-watch to get an idea
. Some of the stuff was a little silly, ie Batman chilling/hiding in the distance with his gun while WW and Supes were putting in work on the frontlines :mjlol:
. Some sloppy dialogue here and there

Some stuff I really liked:
. Batman
. Lex
. WW
. When Batman saves Martha
. Batman vs. Superman fight
. Batman's whole adaptation in the movie. He's more cruel, scary, and merciless and I like it
. WW's entrance in the Doomsday battle :banderas: From the trailer I thought Doomsday was ultra unnecessary but truth be told they did a good job of including him in the movie
. JL dikkteases
. When the soil rises on Superman's casket at the end

All in all, critics are bugging

This movie was great for about 2/3 of the way through, the end got way too campy and typical.

Edit: fukk it I'm about to go deep into this shyt.

Ben is probably the best Bruce Wayne and Batman that we've ever seen on film. However, his performance was wasted, he didn't get to spend enough time as Batman, and they subjected us to these trash hallucinations that had no bearing on the movie whatsoever instead of giving him more time to shine. But hey atleast he won the 1v1, hold this L Supes :umad:

Superman's part of the movie sucked, and not necessarily because of him, but because the character of Lois Lane is constantly around to turn his story into this drawn out romantic drama. The main plot behind him didn't pan out because at the end of the day they didn't portray the errors of Superman's character. They started strong by showing all the collateral damage that's left behind, and they tried to make him answer for it. But Supes never conceded that he was in the wrong and ultimately was made out to be this perfect guy without any regret because Lex set him up. The whole point was that he was supposed to feel regret and resent himself, instead of trying to G-check Batman as Clark and :cape: all day

Once Supes caught that assbeatin :whew: and Batman saved Martha, the movie went from like a solid 8/10 to about a 6.5/10. The Doomsday fight was pure kiddy action and felt like it only existed to give Wonder Woman a reason to be in the film. If it ended with Martha being saved, Lex getting arrested, and the tapes of the remaining JL members then it probably would've been a much better movie. They could have turned Doomsday into a movie unto himself, and used that opportunity to set up Darkseid.

Different strokes for different folks :ehh: I was entertained from beginning to end with BVS while Antman left me with more of a meh feeling. Still want to see him and Wasp in action though.

Lets not do this breh.... I mean really??:snoop:

Again..... shyt needs to 1st top its own catalog before the discussion goes there..... :dwillhuh:

or at worse the comp in the same fiscal year:lolbron:

Which would bring me to Deadpool:sas2:

If I had the choice to see one of those 2 movies again....... the decision would be easy.....

:jbhmm: The Senator is stumbling....
Superman is just standing there like :francis:....
The guy in the wheelchair is sitting there like :francis:....
:lupe:Luthor is not there....

Uhhhh, I thought it was solid. Just walked out. No idea how it got such a negative reaction from critics
Best Guess.

People expected it to be The Dark Knight or Avengers quality. Once it was clear it wasn't that people said lets hate it :yeshrug:

Most of it the negativity stems from disappointment more than anything. I get that.

Its why it should have been in the 60s or 70s on RT. It also isn't for everyone.

This movie was great for about 2/3 of the way through, the end got way too campy and typical
I thought that the first time I watched it.

Some cringe worthy moments or at least me saying to myself "Whyyyyy Zack...no need for all that destruction and CGI."

2nd time....ehh...just went along with that :yeshrug:
