The Truth
And see, I hated those 2 scenes:mjlol:

I thought the lollipop scene was weird and awkward..... didnt know what they was going for.

The speech scene where he came unhinged.... I thought that was just a bad scene..... even at Lex's weakest moments, not even he would come unhinged and awkward like that in public.... dude would've been more suave, cool, and charismatic.

But since we have as peeps in here have been calling a more "emo" dark Superman in this world. If they didnt want to go the suave cool route.... they probably should've went with a more aggressive, ferocious, more gully or menacing portrayal of Lex. Stoic wouldve even be fine like peeps under him fear his mere presence. I got the vibe that no one took here serious and looked at him like a clown.

Its like everyone in this movie were adults and he portrayed Lex as a boy.... and they hinted so many times that BM/BW been around for like 20 years, I wonder was it a point to make it seem like Lex basically just came on the scene in the last 2-3 years?
Well this Lex took the company over from his dad... Who they described to be more like the Lex WE wanted. This one was a victim of having similar intelligence, being born rich, and being beaten by his dad until he became a brooding, socially awkward, fakkit in which Eisenberg can play that well.

I think they were trying to Ultron this version of Lex. I was PISSED at how non-threatening they made Ultron. Ultron was cold, untalkative, without feelings, etc. and they tried to make dude like Bane but not as cool.

It seems as though DC fan boys and plea coppers are only concerned about the spectacle of it all. I can dig it. The eyegasm of seeing batman and superman on the big screen together. I get it.

Critics and people who actually enjoy a coherent plot look at the bigger picture. It's hard to enjoy a movie when the story isn't told very well. Everything about this movie is RANDOM. From the day the announced this movie, to the people they got to play specific characters. Nothing about this feels organic.

And like I said before. MOS was a fumble and an interception. BvS is trying to get the points back with a hail marry. This movie was an incomplete pass.

so, have you seen the movie or you still talking out your ass? i ask cause what you said isn't true....there is a plot, that's easy to follow...whether you like it or not is up to you, but it's there...the same goes for the story....i'm not saying you nor anyone has to like the movie, whether you like it or not is up to you, but some of yall saying it's not good aren't even using real reasons, yall just pulling shyt out yall asses...

THey could do the Wxxxonder Woman thing though. Have the character appear in Justice League ffdddrcrfvvvrffdrrirst and then do the offcvcrffffrfrrigin thing in the character's solo movie afterward.
I anticipate the only character who would get any real time sent c hg on their origin in the JL movie would be Cyborg.
You still need to give Aquaman and Flash they're origin story in the film

The average person don't know them like that, especially if they different from the comic.

If they not gonna do the single films first than they have no choice but to put all that origin story in the JL movie

Just saw it. A solid 7 - 8. Seems because it wasn't exactly what a lot of people wanted, it got panned hard.

Waaaaaaaaay too much focus on fukking Lois Lane tho, breh :stopitslime:

Amy Adams just wack af to me, so this bytch just RUINED scenes, and she was in a lot of them.

Bats/Supes/WW were all pretty good tbh, angry Supes is top notch piff. Ben acted his ass off in this, way better than Bale ever did. Ben should have been Batman along with his piff voice changer. :blessed:

Lex wasn't bad for who he was, but he just wasn't the Lex people expected and wanted. While Lex was always a little off, this guy was just neurotic and crazy as catshyt.:scust:

I can't call it a horrible casting choice because for the character portrayed, he did it completely perfect. :patrice:It just wasn't Lex Luthor swagging the fukk out on Supes so it came off forced and uninspired.:patrice:

Fight scenes were all good, you could feel and hear the power of the hits everyone was dishing out. DBZ-esque :blessed:

Plot wasn't flowing though, which can vastly hurt people's opinions. Idk whether it was too many flashbacks, or the very slow pacing of the first act. A lot of holes that left me :dwillhuh:

In conclusion, if I was following the movie for a long time like I know some people, and coming in with all of these expectations, I would probably give it a 5.

However, I'm casual as fukk so it was solid to me :manny:

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
They could always solve that by just giving some of the characters some personality and not rushing the story.

And not make the movies so damn depressing

It seems like the ONLY character they took they time with was ZOD. That's the only character I felt they took their time with. He had emotion, purpose and he made you understand his viewpoint. Superman didn't really have no rhyme or reason to save earth (other than to protect his mother). His father abandoned him. He even admitted that he could've come with him but didn't. Never even knew his mother. Now all of a sudden he's listening to his ghost.

It's like the plot was rigged for Zod to win. But he obviously couldn't so it turned into a plot of convenience. OK. Fine.

Without even seeing this movie yet they took the ending of MOS and just went full retard with the plot. NONE of that shyt could possibly make sense.

And YEAH, I'm a Marvel stan.. but Civil War has been building up since the first Avengers. So when you see them fight, you actually understand why, you're invested in the characters cause and it just adds more to the experience.

WHY would I give a shyt about Superman's cause. He's basically listening to random gibberish Jor-El told him about humans. And he wanted the Kryptonian race to die because they stopped having natural births. Jor El was willing to let his entire race die for no good reason. I can go on and on about this bullshyt writing but I will save my energy until after I pick apart this movie.

Once you get past the costumes, CGI and explosions, a movie is only as good as the least amount of major plot holes you discover.

People about it's not the Lex Luthor y'all know is because he's LITERALLY not the Lex Luthor you know.

Alexander Luthor, Jr. (Earth-Three)

i thought it was that luthor too, but then i looked and started leaning more towards the luthor we know, just at an earlier age.....now you got me thinking....next time i see it, i will really focus on him to try to figure it out....

He's not always brooding... He's going through an origin story. shyt isn't gonna be happy go lucky or smooth especially in this universe where people dying left and right.

Superman is dealing with people wanting to hate him then wanting him to save them.. He's not feeling the love or appreciation. After he dies for them, then they see it in which u might see that superman you desperately want to.

Even Batman has changed because of Superman. He could've ended Lex... But knew that not what Clark wanted.

Superman was always good... Or at least better than most of us. Imagine if you had the abilities.. You know how many people you probably would have killed? Superman was never on Gokus level of kid-like playfulness. Never.... All Goku wanted to do was laugh, eat, and fight.

Goku was more like Thor than Superman
Hopefully he will be and I guarantee he'll be a better character because of it

I'm no big Super man fan this one they have here is just so one dimensional, I don't even buy he cares about Earth other than his mom and Lois.

Dude has the nerve to say Batman is wrong while he does the same thing :heh:

and how did superman change batman? Robin's death changed him if anything and when we even talk about change that's hard to do since this is the only movie with bat Affleck
