in an unexpected twist of all the main characters I enjoyed cavill as superman the most... and I don't actually feel he got shortchanged like people have been saying. I feel like he had just as much to do as batman did, even more in some respects. It was just terrible.
I was just annoyed that they continued the mopey Superman stuff a bit too long.
I liked the moments where he was an easily angered dikk.

LOL amazing????

Yeah I really enjoyed the movie and the fight scenes were so cool, it gave me shivers. The Flash he was cool I can't wait to see him properly.

What were your problems with the movie breh? We should have a healthy debate :jbhmm:

Even for ninjas who didn't like it does it deserve a 30%?:mjlol:
No it doesn't. But at the same time, the pacing issues, Eisenberg, the long drawn out ending don't leave good impressions. You just want this movie to kick into gear but something just keeps bogging it down. I can see why critics mightve been like, this ain't what I came to see.

And yes this flick is dark as fukk. I like that but I can see why others wont. Very somber, dark, black midnight movie. Word to Charlie Murphy.

I don't even know how the debate can even move forward. you either enjoyed it or you didn't, but there doesn't seem like there's much to actually debate. all the bullets that the Snyder apologists/defenders use in their arguments have been taken out of the gun. It's not mature, it's not deep, it's corny, it's cheesy, it's both grimdark serious and b-movie camp at the same time... the trailers DID reveal too much and the justice league inserts (including WW) were obviously tacked on.

all that's left to debate is whether or not you were able to enjoy it. and if you did, what can I say... I salute you.
I don't get people debating over personal tastes. You can argue about specific plot points and stuff but if I like something that you didn't I don't see the point in arguing about it. I will never convince you that it was good and you will never convince me that it was bad.
Its the same reason I don't give a fukk about critics either. Its an opinion that differs from mine. That's life.:manny:

He had things to do certainly. But how he acted and his impression in those scenes were very dull. I don't want to compare this Superman to Chris Reeves but imagine the JLU Superman in this movie or even the current comic book Superman. I just honestly hope this is the last time we have to see this sort of Superman. If we see this same characterization of superman in the Justice League movie, I would officially say he the worse Superman in any medium. Cavil has potential he just hasn't reach it yet or hasn't been given the opportunity to.

The :cape: in this thread is so weird for me.

There are literally DOZENS of grown men in this thread saying, it dragged and was boring for long bits, the editing was bad, Lex was horrible, there are huge plot holes then still saying it's an 8/10.

I know people are over reacting in response to the critics, but don't you see the disconnect ?

I enjoyed the movie. Did they show too much in the trailers? Yea but I got more than expected.

I was scared that they would try to squeeze too much into this movie. I probably need to see this movie again to fully that it in. No homo.

Way too much

The best scenes were in the trailer
Everything was revealed in the trailer, plot and main enemy

I guess it depends on what you were looking for in the movie. You could feel the way you said people felt but have been wowed by the action so you gave it high marks.
I am more confused by so many grown men being so personally invested in the movie failing. That is some odd shyt to me.

Some people just don't want to admit this film fell short. I wanted a classic myself.
