How many more chances is this man going to get
Just finished... So you'll get an honest review
I liked it. I figured I would. The buildup to the end was pretty long though.
And Lex is like the fukking Riddler/Joker mixed together. Very annoying. He had a good plan andgetting the knowledge of a hundred worlds made him aware of Darkseids. In fact I think he triggered the call to him. The term "Devils come from the sky" wasn't just in reference to Superman, Zod, or Kryptonians. I liked that. I liked his lil plan as well.
I see what people are saying. The buildup and editing didn't explain things at times but it's hardly noticeable if you can piece shyt together. It's more like, they're not going to tell you what's going on, you figure it out.
Superman definitely had the least motive for going after Batman... At least it wasn't personal (but granted, he wasn't really gonna go after him anyway I think. I think he stopped giving a fukk by the time Batman was looking for him)
i also like Batmans hunting reference. His family being hunters going after animals more power than them. That was dope. But yeah, after Lex blew up the council (which was dope) and they blamed Superman , I think superman bounced and didn't give a fukk about Batman doing anything
Wonder Woman was good. I don't see the complaints. Yeah she had minimum speaking parts but who gives a fukk, she has her own movie coming out. The audience cheered when she came out.
Definitely had its funny moments as well... Just lex wasn't one of them.
I liked it more than I liked the new Star Wars movie, so I give it like a 8/10. It fukked itself up from being a 10 because of Lex and length to get into things.
The very beginning was amazing, middle was a lil slow, ending was pretty cool. Both Batman and Superman are pretty dark so if you don't like that shyt save your money. Batman more so than Superman.
It's not as dark as Flashpoint Paradox but pretty dark. Like Frank Millers Dark knight animated movies.
I can see why they will have issues with the film. I see it having that MOS vibe all over again
I honestly don't care about reviews...stopped caring when the Gawd Ebert went to that aisle seat in the sky.
Besides some of my favorite movies were shyt on by critics when they first came out. Predator was almost universally panned and The Shining was actually nominated for a Razzie for Worst Director for Kubrick...think about that, people actually thought once upon a time that Kubrick shyt the bed in terms of how he directed The Shining.
Night of the Hunter was a critical and box office flop when it first came out. Taste differs and in the case of a polarizing director like Zack Snyder his aesthetic doesn't always line up with the tastes of professional critics.
Anyone catch the eyes wide shut waltz at the party
My post was a response to the convo between two other people that tagged/referenced you and yet you in here acting like you're on my mind? I must be on yours since you're in here catching feelings acting like a latent homosexual talking about "waking up on my dikk" not even days after trying to claim I was "your man" and shyt.
Really now, let's just see what you posted less than a day before it when you were busy copping pleas for this movie.
So somehow I'm pretentious for "praising garbage" like Only God Forgives, yet you are out here acting all high and mighty about how reviews don't matter because you've liked stuff that got bad reviews and vice versa, bringing up shyt that gets ripped apart on release only to gain a cult following. If you truly believed that, you wouldn't claim a person throws his credibility away for liking a movie like Only God Forgives (which actually has a cult following) or Age Of Ultron.
The double-talk and hypocrisy is getting pretty bad but I'm sure you're going to ignore it just to call me a homophobic slur or a Marvel stan again with more shytty arguments.
I gave the movie a 2.5/5 and said that if the director's cut actually improves some of the first half storytelling, it might end up a 3/5, very consistent with a lot of other people's opinions.
I somehow prewrote my review yet for every complaint I give an example/reference point from the movie itself.
Sure, I thought this movie looked bad from the start and now that the truth has caught up to my predictions, it's my fault somehow?
I had no problem acknowledging DoFP or Jurassic World ended up being wholly entertaining movies despite me trashing them beforehand as well.
Could it be you're just a whiny little kid catching feelings?
Yep, certainly seems that way.:ducreux2:
Write a review where you literally say the movie is on the edge of bad/good and conclude the announced director's cut might help it pull it through to the good side of things, but somehow get accused of calling it the "worst movie ever". Did your simpleton pleb ass even make it past my attention grabbing (and obviously trollish) title?
saying it wasn't as terrible isn't an endorsement that you like the movie lol....
also, you can tell you faking cause most of your posts is questioning why people like this/that or how you 'don't understand' something...
i'm not caping for shyt...i'm just voicing my opinions in regards to what people are saying.....i'm not trying to get anyone to change their mind about the film...the only person they watch movies for are themselves, and whatever they think about them is cool..
Cavill wasn't the issue at all. He was given dog shyt to work with cause Snyder and Goyer don't understand the fundamental appeal of the character.Henry Cavill had me out here rooting for Batman
