Got back maybe an hour and half ago. Movie was long af, as expected.
fukk if this isn't half clusterfukk half dope action movie. It's a slow burn that's for sure. My mind was wandering off a few times. So far I have seen some very accurate reviews this past page or two.
The audience I saw it with didn't laugh much, kind of a meh, type vibe it seemed. A few cracks, but maybe it just wasn't clicking.

Snyder can film some really dope action but I don't think he came through like I thought he would. Well I might of just thought he would improve. I think he's hit his ceiling.
I wanted to be like, I have to see this again. But once it ended I was like, maybe when it hits hbo. The drawn out ending didn't help.

Watched it and I don't know what to make of it as of yet, potentially a very good movie ruined.
Some thoughts, Batman and Alfred upstaged everyone. Superman the guy who is playing him is just bad, emotionless, wooden has that one expression on his face he's about to cry any moment now through out.
Him and Amy Adams do not work at all.
Lex Luthor as I expected is terrible, stunk up the place anytime he was on screen. Made me wonder what was his inspiration when preparing for this role? You would think he's playing the Joker or Riddler made no sense.
First half of the movie was surprisingly well given the negative reviews and then later Doomsday was introduced and that's when things became a random mess.
Take out the guy who is playing Lex and the unnecessary fight with Doomsday and you've got a good movie.
I myself think it's better then the Marvel movies with the Winter Soldier being the exception.
A solid movie ruined by the final act, that Doomsday was the worst shyt ever. Goyer and Zack are the problem here.

If so, I don't think it was a dream. I think it was an alternate universe where Superman's mother died and he went of the rails. (I don't think he was dreaming about that warning from the Flash)
I agree, it didn't need to be included but for me, it was worth it just to see Batman going beserk on Superman's goons

A bit of that even though some of the criticism is valid.
Some of the criticism was plainly not true. This idea it's humourless when there three characters who offer plenty of humour (Alfred, Perry and Lex) especially if you consider the tone of the film.

Movie had potential to be a GOAT... Still does on the Bluray version. But it's a solid 8... If you liked MOS or Frank Millers Batman.
If you're looking for the goody 2 shoes Superman/Batman of the past then this isn't it. Not even close. Superman had more lines than people think but he could've had more. Should've cut out Eisenbergs dialogue for more Superman dialogue..
