One thing that puzzles me about "reviewers" are those who review a movie in a genre they flat out don't like. How do I take your opinion seriously?

I'll always take the opinion of someone familiar with the source material and a reasonable knowledge of film/narrative before I do a general film critic.
ok, so if we talk about bad reviews, can we not be labeled "haters" at this point? I'm not fukkin saying anything about the movie, i haven't seen it, but so far even the positive reviews seem like people convincing themselves they liked it. i did the same thing with Age of Ultron and now i think that movie stinks for the most part.

Dude, 'the people' haven't seen it yet. Just some select fans, and if you are a fan who got advanced tickets you are likely biased toward liking it.Movie is CLEARLY certified by the nation of people as a 8/9/10 out of 10 movie

the DCEU is officially up and running.. Once Suicide Squad crushes the building, DC gonna close the year out on top... WW gonna be the sleeper kill to solidify this universe as a power house...

Just read the reviews on rt. I'm not saying the movie is piff or anything but most of the complaints stem from the serious tone of the film and not the actual film itself.
Most of the complaints I've seen have to do with the awful plot, pacing, and mishandling of characters, actually.
But whatever you need to tell yourself.
