Ofcourse it's doomsday.. Who else will it be

And there are rumors that bones develop the more he's hit/hurt so I don't think that's the finished product...

I also don't think he's the final villain imo. I think there's going to be a bigger reason to draw out Aquaman, Flash, GL, Cyborg, and etc than just fighting Doomsday.

I'm hoping there's a Braniac introduction but I think it's Darkseid since they showed the flying droids or whatever
I don't get why dudes are spazzing out about Doomsday...this is what he looked like when he first showed up in the comics:

Wasn't any spiky bones under there at all.

And then after a couple rounds brawling with Superman the bone growth started:

And in the trailer you can see the beginnings of spikes on his skin so I am sure by the time he really starts getting into it with Supes.Bats/WW he will be looking like his final stage in the comics.

"I never seen a movie hype me up and let me down all in the same trailer."

:deadmanny:

freshly served realness straight out the oven :whew:

Does it really matter how many movies its taking?

I mean, bvs is introducing

Batman
Lex
Wonder woman
Doomsday
Aquaman

That it?

Age of ultron introduced

Scarlet witch
Vision
Ultron
Quiksilver
Klaw

On top of having what like 10 more characters?

Does it really matter? Does batmans introduction really going to confuse audiences when everybody knows batman?

Outside of comic readers nobody knew who the fukk any of those people in aou were.

The criticisms are weak and see through. Its just the same tired marvel stans who give marvel a pass for everything then crucify any other studio for doing the same shyt.
All those were secondary characters aside from ultron who was the villain. Batman and friends: dawn of justice is throwing in multiple characters, 4/5 you listed figure to have the most screen time. We know any critical analysis of DCs doing is blasphemy in here but they are obviously trying to keep pace with marvel and make up ground as they are behind damn near a half decade, or else this would have been MOS 2, not batman and friends.

Marvel built their characters up because they actually had time to do it. You seriously think DC wants to put three of their biggest characters into one movie?

They don't have much choice at this point. They ain't trying to have Justice League come out in 2025.

Fred.
Lol I know people can't be this thick just to defend DC. It's like they seriously refuse to admit anything. Everything DC does is perfect :dead:

For people that are supposed to be impartial and more logical than the "marvel stans" they sure seem to have trouble acknowdleging or finding any fault in anything DC has done so far :sas1: but hey maybe they just have been perfect :sas2:

Yeah people forget the spikes grow in periodically...but again that's an origin story. It doesn't seem like Snyder is going to be that thorough, which is weird considering how detailed he was with 300 and Watchmen. We can only hope he starts to upgrade into the spikes, because this is already a meme o doom situation.

Brehs.....:wow:

Just shut up for a second and close your eyes and take a breath.

We're about to get a superman and batman movie for the first time :ahh:

This is history:blessed:

Comic book fans everywhere should be excited.

The cartoon films/shorts handled this better, but I get your point, a live action Supes and Batlfeck. For some reason however, the tv shows tend to do it better. Everyone is still sucking on Flash & Green Batman.

I guess my main point is, Marvel could afford to drop duds (and they did) leading up to "Avengers". Because if people were :ld: "eh, that Hulk movie was ok" they still had an end point to look forward to.

If this movie is anything less than a grand slam, no one is going to say :ld: "eh, that shyt was aight....but we still got 'Aquaman' and 'Shazam'."

You get what I'm saying? That's why I said this isn't an ideal situation for DC.

Fred.
yep. The movie will make money. It's the two most recognizable comic Heros in American history.

If it has a mixed or poor reception. It affects all the movies they have down the pipeline. Nobody is going to rush to see aquaman when the main attraction was meh. People refusing to admit DC transforming MOS2 to batman and friends was a business decision motivated to keep marvel from completely monopolizing the market (that they ironically made profitable with low tier characters) :mjlol: the will to defend DC is strong in these ones (Star Wars voice)

Damn y'all still don't understand that the DC timeline is going to shift between past and present? The Wonder Woman set pics and the Suicide Squad film both confirm that the timeline is not going to be straight point A to point B. We will see Wonder Woman's entire origin but we will also see her in the present day as she appears in this film. In Suicide Squad we will see Batman prior to when this film is taking place.

I get that some of you just want to talk shyt but what I just laid out are the facts. :manny:

We all recognize that. We are comic nerds on the Internet. We are talking about the reason why they are going in reverse. And an educated guess is it's not just "to be different because you don't have to follow marvels model".

To be fair...G-Force made money, and it was a movie about fukking hamsters with guns. However I do see your point, even when DC wants to deviate from films, they tend to ignore their low tier/forgotten heroes and just do "Superman in High School" or "The Flash Jogs at night". If they're not paying attention to other characters, they're already tapping out. With Guardians and Ant-Man taking off, DC has to really dive into the pool of other cool - lesser known muhfukkas.

Would love to see a serious Cyborg take the screen...or even Starfire. His fukking name is Victor Stone...he needs a fukkin movie.

Double Toasted pretty much summed up my thoughts perfectly. I was going to go watch the movie opening night or the day after, but after the rest of the trailer I'm gonna hang back and wait for a week or two to see the reviews.

People seemed to think before the trailer that there was too much going for this movie for it to potentially flop, but now it seems more realistic.
