I kind of wish batman wasn't as old with the gray just more battle hardened. He could of been active like 5-6 year before MOS which is how I think the new 52 established it. I do like however that it's a twist and not a rehash of a batman origin story /training which makes it intriguing

I don't think he's that old in this movie, probably early 40s. In TDKReturns he was 55 and retired at 45 but was still fighting so plus it seems like the New 52 is influencing the DCCU
