The Director has no power over editing a movie or its trailers. The Chief editor and staff can do that and the heads upstairs at WB sign off on what is approved. This was an executive that pulled this shyt just like how Watchmen was gutted for its theatrical release

Nah Snyder wanted the full version but was pressured to cut it. Those fools upstairs did the opposite of what they wanted and damaged their sales more than anything. The editing of the movie was one of the first complaints that kept coming up
