Movie was always piff.

Extended scenes address a lot of the 'big issues' that people had, people were giving Snyder shyt for not including a scene of Superman saving people after the bombing. I saw entire articles directed at him stating this shows how he doesn't understand Superman, and comic book heroes in general...

Yeah, I really never bought into the argument that Snyder didn't "get" Superman. Honestly Snyder's biggest failing on BvS is not being a good editor. He probably should have hired someone to cut the movie down for him.
