Nikkas are wrong about the movie not being deep. The Jesus overtones, terrorism, the general idea of opportunity cost of decisions etc.

You can argue that they didn't execute it well but it is pretty deep

And yes... Flash came from the future dropping Lois Lanes name... It's also the reason Superman flipped out in other comic reiteration of a similar story. Superman killed Lex over Lois in the comics if I'm not mistaken

If you talking about Injustice, Superman kills the Joker because the Joker tricked Superman using Scarecrow's fear toxic for Supes to hallucinate Doomsday when it was actually Lois, and when Superman took what he thought was Doomsday into space, he accidentally kills Lois who was pregnant with his baby... and it also triggered a nuke to explode in Metropolis destroying the entire city....

This was made Superman go mad and gone rogue.

Batman couldn't but he never could. Batman in JL was more of a yoda than an actual person that could defeat crazy shyt on his own. But he understood things that other heroes didn't...

Batman always had a plan which is what made him the Batman... Fighting things he couldn't necessarily control but who the league needed because he made himself useful on different levels. Whether it was advice, knowledge, immunity to certain shyt, fearlessness, leadership, tactfulness, etc. Batman was the anti-social Captain America with the intelligence, skills, and technology of a Black Panther in similarity

i guess we'll see what boxofficemojo's total tally is tomorrow, but this kinda surprised me simply b/c foreign markets (i thought) typically flocked to anything big budget that has flashy lights, cgi and brand names attached.. regardless of quality (john carter, battleship, etc).

Hans the GAWD/GOAT even kinda mailed it in. I know he was working with Junkie XL, but where the fukk is the Last Samurai, Inception Hans at?

This is the only level shyt from the GOAT in the movie and he usually has a score full of them.

I also am starting to realize that these characters are not fully formed to what we know and love... Unlike the Marvel Movies honestly.

This is still kinda an origin story for all of them. Like the marvel movies quickly made their personalities form.

While Batman is forming to become the JL Batman we recognize, Superman is still becoming the Superman we recognize (which I said in MOS), Lex is developing into the cold calculating Lex we recognize, and Wonder Woman (who doesn't even LIKE mankind in this movie) is forming into the hero we recognize.

Just a different approach. Marvel hits us with that quick fix while DC is trying to give a slow burn. Marvel is your favorite fast food while DC is that steak you just spent hours marinating and cooking just to savor it... And I'm cool with both
