This is also exactly how Tony reacted when he saw the video of Bucky killing his parents....People need to stop complaining about Starlord. Him popping off on Thanos is COMPLETELY in character (He did the same damn thing to Ego after Ego admitted to killing his mom).
Quill is emotionally fragile and struggles at never being able to save the people he loves. Yondu, his mom, his Dad, etc.
His entire character's foundation was built on his inability to form substantial connections after losing his mother. In the span of a few hours, he finally admits to the woman he loves (And has legitimately helped Quill grow as a person) how he feels, hears her say it back, and resolves himself to kill her only to have Thanos troll him.
After losing her in his head, he thinks he has a chance to be the hero and finally save her again, only to find out Thanos just killed her at "random". He reacted emotionally and just like Quill would.

They're fictional characters, relax. Nobody is taking to twitter to get them fired from their day jobs or sending hate mail. This is also exactly how Tony reacted when he saw the video of Bucky killing his parents....

Yeah like Marvel is gonna kill off their biggest characters like Spidey and BP
The deaths before the snap...Heimdall, Loki, Vision and even Gamora have the chance to stick. The rest of those dudes will come back. Homecoming 2 and BP 2 are already confirmed
I have a feeling this will be the case, but it will probably be lost on casual fans and still appear to them as the characters being brought back to life. Now if they made it very alternate versions of the characters, like instead of peter parker, mile morales shows up. or Toby Mcquire that would be some ill shyt.We may see those characters again via the multiverse which would mean the screenwriters are correct, A VERSION of those characters are dead and will remain dead. We know that the multiverse will play a big part in the MCU going forward.
Also another reason why I think the characters might remain dead is Kevin Feige said A4 is not a part 2 of Infinity War and there will be 2 distinct periods in the MCU, before A4 and after A4. If the movie is about them trying to find thanos and reverse the snap then that's definitely a part 2 of IW. Also the screenwriters said "it doesn't do what you think it does", everyone is assuming they will just reverse the snap and live happily ever after. They also said IW and A4 are completely different movies with different stories. That tells me this movie might not be about saving everyone, that would be way too obvious.

But since it will probably be the same people with the same exact back stories from their origin movies, it is still essentially going to be interpreted as a phoenix down situation for all intents and purposes.
Yeah. That's why I like the scene, especially Tony realising what has been said and knowing he was in this situation as well but this could have even bigger consequences quickly trying to warn Quill not to lose his temper. This is also exactly how Tony reacted when he saw the video of Bucky killing his parents....

Yep exactly the same thing.Im not familiar with multiverse but could this be the same thing as parallel time lines?
Because if thats so then it lines up with my theory that either thanos (inadvertently) or dr strange (advertently)created an alternate route with the timestone.
