whats the big deal about killing Shuri?

She's a fan favorite that was killed off screen.

But like someone else pointed out these movies were written before "BP" even came out so it's not as if they knew killing her off would matter.

Well the first movie did $500 million and the sequel did $622 million so "expecting Ant-Man numbers" isn't really a bad thing.

It's kinda crazy they made Wakanda the pivotal battle ground in "Infinity War" without even knowing how "BP" would do, though.

Not saying they expecting it to flop, they just didn't expect it to the primary draw character going into the movie. They thought it was going to be an good marvel movie. Just not one of the studios highest draws.

Yeah, I agree. Which is why I said them making Wakanda so vital to "Infinity War" was kinda crazy.

Picture Ramonda letting these White folks - some of whom are from space - take her sole surviving child, after they brought an alien invasion to her front door, then killed half of the life in the universe

Shuri has probably been sent to go live with her aunt until Black Panther 2 to keep her out of trouble.
