Like I said before, Thanos just easily wasted Thor, Loki, Hulk, Heimdall, and the whole rest of their crew back when he only had the use of one stone, and we don't know if he even had to use it.

Yet Doctor Strange using no stone was able to hold his own with Thanos for some time when Thanos was using multiple stones.

The same Doctor Strange who had gotten his ass kicked by one of Thanos's lackies earlier in the movie.


Talk about Captain America having a bruise....he should be flat with his guts dripping out. Hell, why wasn't Ironman killed by one of those impacts LONG before the "fatal" blow? He's just a regular human. That goes for a lot of them - with all the power that Thanos is wielding, even the NORMAL Thanos, the one who can kick Hulk's ass by himself, should have be killing those mere mortals.


Oh, on a side note - if those portals that Dr. Strange makes can cut off arms, then why didn't he just cut off Thanos's arm when Thanos was incapacitated? Just make a portal over his arm, close it, snip off the arm like what happened to Thanos's lackey.

Thanos was new to the stones.

Powers have 2 dimensions. Offensive and defensive. Those with low defensive abilities can be easily defeated even if they are overall more powerful.

Hulk may have been Banner during the initial attack, Thor had no weapon, they launched bombs at the ship. Only Thor has that level of high durability to go toe to toe with those 4. In the right circumstances half of the people on here could take out most of the non-highly durable avengers - Scarlett Witch, Banner, Strange, Iron Man etc. That's why Sabertooth was able to mash up most of the X-men all by himself.

A bunch of kids almost killed Prof. X and almost did Storm in. Luke Cage (who is a lot less powerful overall) saved her bacon.

Who was surprised that Thor didn't die in space?

The only thing I was surprised by was that Thor/Loki/Hulk/Heimdall got their asses handed to them so easily by a one-stoned Thanos and company.

And Thor talking in space with no air, which shouldn't really be a thing.

The original question wasn't why so many Avengers survive space encounters, it was why the ultra-powerful Ebony Maw was so weak and useless in his. And really the only answer is "because Ebony Maw was too powerful to stay in the plot and they needed a way to get rid of him so they could focus on Thanos." The annoying part is them getting so lazy that they make his abilities arbitrarily suck in that moment just so he can die.

Where did the rules of physics get broken. If you speak in space you will still hear yourself right?

Thor is a god. How is this even an argument? He's not a human being, he's one of the more powerful and indestructible forces in the entire MCU. He ain't on Thanos level especially without the infinity stones but surviving out in space ain't an issue, he can survive A LOT..

Possibly with Rocket but it is implied in the movies that they all use direct ear-to-ear communicators. They may have (really) messed up with King Dwarf though.

This was pretty obvious to me given #1 none of the OG team died in the snap and #2 all the promo material so far revolves around them.

Also explains why Thanos hasn't been in any trailers.

Side note, the day the new trailer dropped Josh Brolin posted "they SHOULD move on" on his IG.

But we suspended disbelief with that for over 80 years..... no need to get “woke” now just cuz the things that we used read on paper is now “live action”

So say Captain America in a comic can drop Thanos with one punch...... I’m not gonna get mad if Cap can punch Thanos in the movies
