I'd like to see him and Neville Open mania (non preshow) next year. Maybe throw in Xavier Woods in a triple threat as US champ by that time just to carry the promo end of the feud and stir the pot between Neville and Crews.

So happy they called him up before he was completely ruined in NXT. he really made no advancements in that time. His look and overall style is perfect for the main roster so I hope they at least book him strong.

Neville is a vanilla midget with a face only a mother could love and a thick British accent. He was never going to get a push on the main roster, and even then in some way his athleticism at least translated enough to get the guy win the Slammy for Breakout Superstar Of The Year.
Apollo has the "look" and outside of the standing moonsault is still more of a powerhouse than a high flyer. At worst he might not be Vince's favorite color to become World Heavyweight Champ (
) but he'll definitely get other title runs.

I'm afraid people gonna turn on him some and be indifferent (Not even boos) and creative wont know what to do with him on the main roster (Even Vince who obviously must like his build but will lose faith on the promos)
He should have stayed in NXT more and finesse his mic work. Oddly enough it felt like they gave up on him after the initial super push and Balor match. Now they got him jobbing and I think eventually he'll be food not for Roman but for the heels that eventually go up against Roman. Probably an IC title run

yeah i feel like the NXT crowd was doing that to him..he would come out and smile and everyone would just watch in silence...he got minimal mic time and there wasnt much to it...
the best build his character has had to this point was the little videos they did of his backstory...that made him way more likable, but he's just yet to come off as anything other than some guy happy to be here...he's out here like Evan Bourne and old school Kofi...but like Kofi has shown us over the past 2 years, things change.

I'm definitely an Apollo fan, but I don't think he's ready... workwise, sure... he can GO, but charisma and mic work still pretty ropey.
He could do with being in a stable for a while... let someone like Heyman use him as a destroyer. Or get that Reigns-headed New Nation running.... the Apollo Nation and the Roman Empire join forces to crush these midgets.

It's more like the exact opposite, after that super push it became evident that Crews was going to go up to the main roster really fast. Most of the stuff they did with him after the Balor title match (and the Corbin match at TakeOver: London) was just filling the time.
And lol @ the idea of Vince giving up on Crews' promos when guys like Ryback and Ziggler are still allowed to speak into an open mic.

They had to keep Neville in NXT for two years and give him a long-ass title run to make him ready for the main roster, Crews was deemed ready in six and got that Kevin Owens pay raise.
