Dude needs a feud. Those 2-3 minute squash matches only work for so long before the crowd turns on em, Baron Corbin being the most recent example.

Nah, the crowd turned on Corbin because he couldn't live up to his build once they started putting him in longer matches and exposed that he wasn't nowhere near ready enough.

I kinda feel Apollo needs this rub just to get some sort of reaction. He is not over at all
in NXT. He has no character and it's hurting him. NXT crowd would rather pop for Tye Dillinger than Apollo right now. His moveset ain't really poppin' the crowd either.

I'm worried cos big homie got skills :mjcry:

Alright, time to up this thread for an audible about this senseless TSC heel turn I've seen about Crews in the Raw thread. Dumb motherfukkers all around talking about 'He wasn't cooking in NXT though' and 'Wasn't his last feud against that weak-ass The Drifter?' and 'He needs more personality' and whatnot, but here's the thing.

This dude won the Battle Royal for the #1 NXT Contendership like a month after his debut and faced Finn Balor twice. On Breaking Ground they literally showed the heads of NXT awarding him with a double pay raise and telling him the only other guy they did the same for was Kevin Owens. They knew early on they were hot shotting this guy to the main roster, especially with him having the "look" that Vince loves, and that's perhaps the reason his short run in NXT fell flat, because they knew any development or build-up would be wasted on a guy that was gonna move up so fast.

So all in all, don't hate, let the man cook and at least while you guys are still bytching, this guy still seems genuinely happy and excited.

I'm concerned for his future as I thought Neville's athleticism and talent would translate well on the main roster and that didn't seem to be the case. Hope he gets a real chance to succeed since he is so fun to watch in the ring.

If they're moving him up to the main roster right this moment, I say to give him a feud with Cesaro that involves Social Outcasts.

Let them stay face and have one interviewed in the back with the question of who is the best pound for pound athlete in WWE. Have the other interrupt "with all due respect" and explain why they're the most impressive.

Commentary guest spots to improve their stick work while one-upping each other with feats of strength/agility against various Social Outcast members.

SO jumps them both. Obligatory handicap tag. They destroy SO and then go at one another.

Bam. Long PPV matches with amazing spots and Smackdown main events. Have Kalisto stumble his way into it coming off a win against a beast. Bam. More dope matches.
