Yeah, that's definitively stated in this chapter since it's not in Oda's nature to just create a different fruit with the same ability. Personally I'm interested in this new moon headed mf commanding the Knights. Maybe they'll be more impressive than CP0 and their recycling asses.

Lots of close ups and low angles to hide the fact that they're on closed sets. CGI looks muted. So they basically filmed this backstage at the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney? At least the main character ain't white. At this point it is what it is. Its a kids show.

it def looks better than i expected but i do not see it making it past season 2 ( if it even gets one). also, how quickly are we bring through material if they are already at 5 crew member by season 1. i get we can't have 40 ep arcs but i fee like a lot of reasons why people like the characters is gonna be cut

The latest episode in the anime (1066) is actually very good. Direction was some of the best we’ve seen in a very long time and for the most part has solid animation that retains the look of One Piece unlike the Zoro King finale. I recommended watching this one.

They actually made Big Mom feel like a monster. Even the music had a monster / horror vibe.


Ok I just read that it was the first time an American has ever directed a One Piece episode. Now the changes make more sense.
