^^^Thst is literally all we got in the manga, there's no way you put this bare bones into an episode and expect it to have the same amount of impact. That's literally what makes a good adaptation, you take the source material and you breathe life into it while maintaining the soul and tone. I think that's what they did with this last episode and quite frankly, what they've been doing since Wano started.
These abilities have risen along with the stakes against more and more larger than life enemies and the animation has to reflect that. Oda created a world full of ridiculously scaled things so it's not going to change anytime soon. At the end of the day it's still going to be Luffy punching someone or Zoro slicing through something but it's going to evolve as the characters have evolved.
Seriously, you a 5’8 human fighting a giant that is 8’3, what’s going on here one piece fanboys.
