...and there is a general theme of the black experience, which always goes back to marginalization and inequality. Not saying that produces a monolith, but a shared perspective and ideally, a collective identity... but there are blacks who haven't had the most intense measure of the experience.
If you're black and gay then yes it's let of the black experience. That's the point I'm making homie. I get what you're saying. There's more to being black than being marginalized and oppressed. You're 100% right but that doesn't mean there aren't guys or girls out there with stories similar to moonlight.
