A year ago Jackson Holliday was the #1 prospect in baseball.

Now he looks like a massive bust.

I wonder if he was rushed or if he was a fraud all along.

His batting profile looks bad.

Might be a little of both. But, they can't send him down now.
If you look at his splits he mashed where he was expected Rookie/A/AA
He completely leveled off in AAA slash .270/.423/.460 - but cause he was hitting HR's it masked it

Given the dire straits the Rotation is in and the fact the farm dropped from #1 for a couple of years to #15 currently. Not trading him for Skubal when his interest was the highest is going to bite the O's. I didn't want to trade him either but, I had expected the O's to do other things on the pitching market to keep the young core in place.

Are you talking the Marlins or Alcantara himself?
I thought he signed a new deal the year he ended up getting TJS?
And now this is the first season since the TJS so he's definitely not up to full strength?

I know he’s returning from tjs. He hasn’t pitched good enough #’s wise for the speculative haul he’s supposed to get if/when he’s made available

Watching the Mike piazza/Clemens episode of the grudge. fukk Clemens and fukk MLB for letting it get out of hand in the first place.

Even if you believe that bullshyt about not hitting him in the head on purpose, he should have been ejected and suspended for throwing the bat in the world series. Piazza is also a better man than I am. I'm charging the mound with the rest of the bat, even in the World Series.
