The Texas Rangers really built a warehouse with a baseball field

This doesn’t tell me anything.
Ranking based on what?

Sure, the Athletics and Rays aren’t playing in professional stadiums. And the city view in Pittsburgh is beautiful.

But I’m not sure what’s differentiating teams in the middle.

I would think Citi Field would be pretty high, personally.

I thought Soto would be the exception to the rule since it's not his first season in NY, but I guess not. It needs to warm up soon. Only polar bears love playing in the cold
Soto always starts a season slow

Mets fans do not deserve nice things

Sports radio has always been about generating outrage going back to the 80s.
It has only gotten worse with podcasts and ESPN debate shows in the last 25 years.

There's always going to be an emotional component to fandom, but anyone can rant about a single at-bat or a game or a series.
It doesn't take any skill or experience or expertise to do that.

People on radio or television ought to be able to provide context and speak to the game on a deeper level than your average fan at a sports bar.
But here we are...

It's still April and WFAN radio hosts are already ranting about Soto :snoop:

It honestly feels like "elite hitter getting off to a slow start" is a common trope with NYC baseball teams :mjlol: Soto having an 0-5 game in April having people like :damn: is :heh:

It's time to have that discussion about Ben Rice being the better hitter.

Yankees may have dodged a bullet not getting stuck with that contract. :wow: :blessed:

WFAN flat out sucks compared to what they were. All for the clicks now.

@Remote how are we feeling about the potential of the Braves becoming legit sellers if everything falls apart this season and Acuna looks like a shell of himself when he returns?

I want Austin Riley on the Tigers. Atlanta has a horrendous farm system and they can dangle Max Clark along with others.

Unlikely.
Riley is signed through 2032.

Acuña is signed through 2026. I suppose if he looks bad and the right deal came along he could be flipped before he hit free agency.

Schwellenbach, Strider and Smith-Shawver figure to be the future of the rotation.

Sale, Albies, and Ozuna would be gone if this season completely fell apart. At least I would imagine they’d entertain offers.

problem is that Riley, like most Braves makes $26 an hour, so they'll ask for the sun moon and stars in return.
