You don’t need an elite program to produce talent. You just need opportunities to play when I say they didn’t even have a league for youth like they did for football which cost more they didn’t have a league.

You need an elite program to get talent into the right pipeline for good schools/academies. and some of that is due to geography and interest, we had soccer in Oakland, and they did a good job reaching out to the inner city communities, not just the rich neighborhoods. But I can imagine there’s more bay area residents really into soccer than Cleveland
