I watched a clip earlier today about the event, and the producer mentioned that both Bailey and Johnson had such big egos that during a meeting, it was discussed that whoever was ahead at the curve would likely pull up and fake an injury. So to have a wide shot angle

It's not drilled enough. When America use to dominate in the late 80's and 90's. It was the Santa Monica track club team as the relay. Burrell Mitchell Marsh and Lewis.

You do know that bailey broke the 100m wr record in that race and then also anchored the team that broke the wr in relay?

Bailey broke two world records, michael johnson just 1
