Because the US is that far ahead, but she wouldn’t have been the favorite to be a gold medal contender ahead of any of those 3. and being ahead of suni wouldve been an abberation, suni was the defending gold medalist for the all around and I remember her messing up on one of the apparatuses in the quals

I don't think it's an aberration anymore... they chose to have Jordan do all 4 events and had Suni do 3 in the Team competition. Jordan is now Simone's Pippen on the squad. The coaches know what they're doing.

I looked it up to compare how many medals we won last Olympics through the same amount of days. And we are about even give or take a couple medals

China is WAY down. Through this time last Olympics they are way ahead of us before we closed out strong. Now they are about 10 gold medals behind their mark in 2021

Gabby has run 21.86 and 22.20 in the heats
Alfred's PB is 21.87.

I doubt Gabby runs a 21.6 anything here.
I'm doubting they get into the 21.7s.
But if Gabby does get in the 21.7s, she wins gold
