Kris bryant is hitting .149 with a .528 ops this season :gucci: and he on the dl again with another injury. Dude sucks , I’m so happy the cubs didn’t sign this fool to a long term extension. rizzo(maybe schwarber)the only ones who should of been kept & that’s debatable.homer ass cubs fans wanted to keep arrieta, contreas, baez & bryant :mjlol:

I have a solution to pitcher injuries that'll never happen but will eliminate the main problem behind them.

Force pitchers to hit again, no lower than 6th in the lineup, and they can only be pinch hit for with other pitchers. If pitchers have to put real effort into training to hit, they will develop into more well-rounded athletes like pitchers of yesteryear that were mostly 2-way/2-sport players most of their lives. Less focus on the specialization of pitching will put less strain on their arms in the long run.

And instead of getting rid of the DH, allow him to hit in place of another position. Give those all-glove/no-bat shortstops and centerfielders a job doing what they do best while the JD Martinezes and Marcell Ozunas still get to mash.

It should be a net neutral on offense, as there should be "less focused" pitching overall with them having to hit, and their batting lines should eventually break even with those glove only players(.200, little power, a little speed, etc).

Yeah, my plug got that good pack in :mjlit:

But forreal tho, doing nothing but pitching is what's killing these arms these days and that would solve it :manny:
