Granted I think Bonds is a hall of famer straight up. You have to wonder if he did 10 years in Pit and then 12 in SF would the voters have treated him differently. He'd have likely just been under 1500Hs 300 HRs and over 300 SBs as just a Pirate. That's also accounting for one of those years being the Strike year. Would have had him 21-31 as a Pirate and 31-42 as a Giant.

He was a 2 time MVP in his 7 years with the pirates anyway. His case was basically ironclad by 1998-99.

I'm not sure I see it with Pete Crow Armstrong.
Defensively he looks as ready as he will ever be.
At the plate, there's a lot of work to do. But he's only 22 years old so I suppose if he gets stronger...and with more experience, he could be a good player.

It's all relative. I don't see a superstar ceiling. But not everyone can be Acuña or Betts or guys like that.

I don't think he's going to be the superstar some of the scouts initially projected on him.
He's already showing double digit homer/double digit steal skills (I'm thinking he's going to be a 15-20HR/30SB guy). If he can improve his slash and cut down the K's he's going to be a solid player and that's really more than you can get out of most.
