That’s fine but promoting guys no one’s ever heard of and hiring a coach that Florida fired ain’t grand slam hires. Y’all should be able to recruit on defense though(which has never been a problem)
What everyone wants isn't always best. Neither co-OCs have a real history calling plays. Plus he wants the TE coach to help in that regard too. Sounds like too many cooks in the kitchen to me, when he had the money available to go out and hire a real OC. Not saying it won't work but the jury is out.

Just cuz of you never heard of em doesn’t mean they’re not good, they are very known in the state and very respected that’s all that matter. Sloan and Hankton called a very good game against a Good Wisconsin defense with Nussmeier making his 1st start and our starting RB being out.
And Raymond and Napier didn’t get along

They just had the #1 offense in the country and there’s a lot of cohesion in that staff if anything hiring a outsider could have hinder that and threw everything out of whack
