I mean.. they presented an offer to him 2 weeks ago on an extension, and his agent said it was t anywhere close to what they were looking for.
Unless they overpay, I just don’t see him wanting to stay in Toronto. And I doubt the Jays wanna get left with nothing (ala the Yanks with Soto) for nothing more than a comp pick.

Vlad should have been there. Hell, half the lineup and starting rotation should have been there.
It just tells me that the Jays aren't a serious organization and/or the players aren't really united in that clubhouse.

Thats your mind already made up telling you that because ur reading too many Heyman tweets that the Jays are missing out on everyone...IM hearing now that yes they met with Roki but it sounds like his mind was made up already he was going to LA so it wouldnt have mattered that much....Only thing the FO fukked up on badly was making the trade to acquire more pool money when he wasnt that close...
