golden at bat is literally something that happen ONCE.

the latest NFL tweak completely changed the kick off. the game is completely different.

its not that bad.

The pitch clock is something akin to the kickoff change, something small that doesn't have too much impact. The Golden Bat is like allowing teams to have 12 players on the field for one drive per game

Maybe a limit of pitchers allowed to be used in one game barring injuries would be something

I'm happy for Sevy.
I just hope that he can put it together for a full season because you see glimpses of him being a top pitcher in the league.

I don't think he'll be elite but hopefully he's better.

Still, I'm surprised the A's chose to spend to get him, and allowed so many of their other players to leave in the past 15 years (traded or otherwise).

That golden bat is a dope idea

baseball need more excitement

I don’t want to see Joe random batting in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs down 1 with a runner on 2nd

i want that pitcher soul leave his body when he see Othani walk up to the plate

I reckon that the novelty would wear off pretty quickly, tbh. Also think it’s all well and good talking about Ohtani and the best hitters, but there aren’t a lot of those spread around the leagues. fukk, imagine having to sit through someone like Adam Dunn having the opportunity to chalk up MORE than 222 s/os in a season, or whatever his record number is.

I don’t like the idea of it, but I think I probably best start getting used to it.

Rob fukking Manfred. Jesus Christ :scust:
