Scoots barrier is his shooting ..DRose,Westbrook,Fox thrived anyway because they had the ball in their hands damn near from day 1 …In Charlotte you already have Lamelo there so the question is will he ever be able to shoot well enough to play off him but the fact that he has pretty clear all-star upside and Miller doesn’t (imo) means you have to take him and would be goofy not to.

the shooting is exaggerated crazy because for whatever reason people lump in his first and second year together.

its definitely not some suggs situation where he works out and teams change their entire draft board a week before the draft because of how terrible it is

that's fair and i never liked the comp in the first place. ppl just love the miller/george comp even though he projects towards rashard lewis more than anything imo

i think even if miller is more Mikal Bridges than he is Paul George that still sets up a question over value … i think it can be argued that a versatile wing defender that can actually shoot the ball and attack close outs is just as valuable to a winning team as a scoring lead guard

I think Melo,Miles,Miller could all just start together whether terry is there or not … i don’t think it will be one or the other ..i don’t think you can have “too many” wings in todays nba

that whole "small guys can't be an impact" shyt is fugazi imo. just more lazy stuff that gets repeated til its fact

scoot is a lot closer to deaaron fox than miller is to paul george. miller being a poor finisher at his size is the exact same thing that holds back tons of wings in the league as well too.

This draft is weird in that the guards mostly have no range and the bigs can’t finish.

Hendricks is one of my favorite prospects but around the basket he needs work.

On twitter there are a decent amount of people saying Miller > scoot as far value … I don’t think Miller is all that great a prospect but I see where they are coming from and have a hard time disagreeing

You don’t think that someone who is 6’9” , with unlimited range and can handle the ball is a great prospect?

Miller showed more in college than Tatum did

he's not the better fit, he's the lazy "lamelo is a guard so get a wing" plug in.

miller being a bad finisher at his size is dramatically worse than the myth that scoot can't shoot too. hell, if scoot enjoyed the same spacing that miller had at alabama he'd have outrageous numbers too

Miller is not a bad finisher plus he’s already a great shooter.

I don’t understand why anyone picking at the top the draft would want Scoot. It makes no sense other than a 2 year hype train

It's easier to find things to scrutinize about Miller because his games were more visible. No one was watching Scoot stink it up in Gleague.

Folks acting like Scoot has all the potential but Miller won't get any better. Miller just needs to fill out and keep getting stronger. Much easier path to stardom than a 6'2'' SG who can't shoot.

I’m picking scoot 8/10 times over Miller. Only way I don’t pick scoot is if I had a franchise backcourt. But if I had that I likely wouldn’t even be in the 2/3 range to even get a chance to pick scoot.
