I don't get Lively at all

I mean, that's not true, I do in terms of being a giant athletic shotblocker, but he's really not good

I can totally see how he'd be a useful piece in time, but he's kind of dime a dozen right now. I'm 100% sure you could find a 7 foot freak athlete without skill in the second round to undrafted

He's far more Keith Closs than he is DeAndre.

He got bullied by every good big he went against while being a zilch offensively.

There's at minimum ten bigs I'd rather take in this draft

Interesting…. I like it for OKC cause kick the asset down the road. I’m assuming Denver wanted 37 and the deal ballooned into this.

Yeah I was looking and the thunder have 2-3 picks in like the next 3 drafts. They can’t fit that many players on a team so I’m assuming
They will just push the picks down the line and take 1-2 shots at adding end of roster depth.

I’ll be honest they will probably be a playin team within the next 2 seasons.

They were a play in team this season.

I mean a bonafide expected playoff contender basically challenging for 6-8 with a healthy pelicans and the other teams. Adding in some
More talent and spreading out those picks can push this squad to potential long term contender status if holmgren is the real deal the Thunder are scary. And can either chose to
Make a major move or even if they relied on internal development.

the west will straighten itself out next season at the top, while the middle is still random

It's probably gonna be OKC making the major leap while a couple of teams age out and drop off.

Denver, Memphis and OKC are the only three that barring injury I can't see them outside of the top 6.

then it's Phoenix/LAC/LAL/GS to see which old team falls off first

Kings might be safer in the top 6 but they gotta show it's not a fluke.

Spurs and Blazers wind up as play-in teams with the Pelicans trying to get in.

Utah and Houston load up on more young talent while Dallas by February is gonna be listening to every Luka to NY trade rumor.

do tell.

not that I'm a Lively fan because I already question his decision making for even going to Duke, but he's a HR swing for teams who need to do that.

:patrice:nikka got bodied by Monaco again .
His team has trash ass guard play, it's hard for him to make an impact against Monaco who've got more talent and vets who've been there and done it before. Team play reigns supreme over there. Monaco would legit give some of the lottery teams in the NBA a good run.

We'll see how they respond in Game 2 - they couldn't have played any worse.

On a related note, I wonder if KD will try to get Mike James to come back to the NBA. He'd be a good addition to have coming off the bench for Phoenix.
