Kinda wild that they dipped and might now come back.

Wondering what Oregon’s long term play will be. Have to think them and UW will get Big Ten invites…they don’t seem like SEC fits, particularly academically.
I think that the BIG is waiting for the other shoe to fall with the Pac12 before sending out the invites to Oregon and Washington. Can pay them less for now since they need us more than we need them. Also helps USC/UCLA with traveling cost.

It's almost mid-April and the PAC12 still looking for a new deal. The other remaining schools probably know that there nothing out there and is waiting for the official word before bolting out.

I 100% agree. I need a more trustworthy source than you, but yeah, i bet UW & Oregon get offers, and stanford is independent until B1G gets another school to balance out (colorado? ND?)

I don't know what would happen to Stanford or Cal when the Pac12 is done. I read somewhere that they would consider just getting rid of football all together. Getting the NorCal market would be cool for the conference but those two schools do not move the needle at all (just like Rutgers and Maryland).

Plus we all know that ND is not giving up the independence flag until NBC stops giving them money. And if even that, they will try to bully another conference into giving them what they want and that is not going to fly with my school or yours :camby:.

It makes sense for Colorado to go back to the Big12 since they had a relationship with them and it would be a easier conference to win than going into the BIG. I think that both AZ schools and Utah follow suit since that region makes more sense. The only schools that would be truly fukked is Oregon State and Washington State because they have no redeeming qualities about them. Straight WAC status, literally.

Ima ask you a question, No shade

You believe in Billy Napier?
Honestly, I do but I have my doubts. We have not had a recruiter this good and relentless since Urban. You have to have waves of talent to compete in the SEC and he's pulling in classes high on quality not quantity. I was a fan of Mullen but he checked out and left the talent level as low as it's been in 30 years. Billy's playcalling leaves a lot to be desired but he also had a QB who was eyeing the draft wanting to emulate Aaron Rodgers and not the beast God blessed him to be.

ESPN lost the Big 10 and they don't get rights to #1 SEC game until 2024

Who are they going to put on Saturday Night Football on ABC this upcoming season? Its usually their marquee game

They still got the ACC, Big 12, and Pac-12

So expect to see a lot of Drake Maye, Caleb Williams, and Ewers/Arch
