1. Notre Dame consistently had/has one of the hardest schedules in the nation and he got to the BCS title game, made the playoffs twice, and was an inch away from doing it again. Its a reason why ND wasn’t shyt before he got there.

Mark Richt was at Georgia from 01-2015. Saban’s dynasty didn’t start til 08. Kirby seems to not be having that problem…

Even Coach O got a natty :dead:

2. And how you gonna blame Urban for Florida constantly hiring bum ass coaches aside from Mullen? They’ll be firing napier within two years and starting over AGAIN.
Notre Dame had the hardest what… nikka stop, and revision of the notre dame experience is funny, i can admit he brought stability but you act like they were bussin 2 and something back to back seasons

Kirby took marks foundation and built it up, and let’s not pretend he still couldn’t have lost them chips, things broke Kirby’s way,
You also ignore, lsu, Florida, auburn and Bama

Coach O happen to be at the helm of one of the generational cfb/lsu teams they won inspite of him not because him,

The conversation wasn’t about blaming urban for floridas let down, my point was, the urban experience has a shelf life, before stories of shenanigans start coming, so you have to keep that in mind ranking him, dude wrecks your program, I’m sure there isn’t many who would turn down a chip, but how many would be willing to take a drought post his leaving

Notre Dame was TRASH under Charlie Weis, Brian Kelly was annually winning 10 games a season there if not more. I bet you think Ty Willingham was a good coach too :dead:

You can literally say this about every championship team in every sport. There's only five head coaches out of 119-130 head coaches with a natty, He has TWO......Aside from that though, Did you not watch the National Title Game? :what:

To the point about Coach O, There's a ton of teams that had generational talent with no chips to show for it. He did it, Richt couldn't. And he did it in year 3. You can say what you want about Burrow and how great he was, But he was also the QB the year before as well. The moves Coach O made got that natty.

Its funny you hold that against Urban with 3 rings but not against Richt when Georgia ALWAYS had players suspended the first few weeks of the season under him. Straight from Spurrier's mouth:

His thoughts on the Georgia-South Carolina game moving from the second week of the season to the sixth week in 2012.

“I don’t know. I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended.”

With Muschamp and the Shark fukker? :usure:
Yeah give Muschamp a Heisman-level RB to match with those defenses and it's on. He went 11-1 with a great defense and one offensive weapon in Jordan Reed. Mcilwain's regime sunk with Will Grier popping for roids but add Calvin Ridley, Eddie Jackson, and King Henry to a division-winning roster and you might have something.

Got recent bias so prob UGA and/or the 2nd Bama game.

?

Sorry @Whips-n-Chains
full

Though, deleting Notre Dame from existence would make the CFB reorganization much more simple...

Probably mich st get absorbed into the Michigan system less in state comp for talent, distributes b-c level talent to the feeder schools

Ty was trash at Washington but still had that 10 win season i said Kelly raised the floor/standard, but he also has an easier path, but according to you nd has a tough schedule you can’t have it both ways either coaches struggled with a tough schedule or we be honest and say Kelly turned recruiting around and won, against easier schedules that allowed him to back door into nc games/new year 6 games

I don’t get it, you understand coaches were plays away and have generational talent, but you become oblivious to that with mark again you can’t have it both ways, you understand things broke right for Kirby… who btw was in a dog fight with Kent fukkin state, and two acl blow outs from Bama eating his lunch

I can acknowledge coach O knows how to be a ceo, but again things came together in a perfect storm for him with oc/Dc and Jefferson and chase being those nikkas along with the defense, i mean chase and Jefferson were two generational talents no one ever says Ed was a great X and O coach, he put good people in place, and made sure he kept feeding his recruiting machine that nick installed

And if we are being honest, for as much praise we hype on dabo…. With the two generational qbs gone he’s looking funny in the light

I hold nothing against urban, i just say that chaos ensues when you hire him, and it’s a matter of time until the posse comes to town and he has to go to beat them, a great coach, a terrible person, and he’s left black marks at both major programs, and if mf wanted to enough, and dug enough, they probably would find similar at bowling green and Utah
