1. Notre Dame consistently had/has one of the hardest schedules in the nation and he got to the BCS title game, made the playoffs twice, and was an inch away from doing it again. Its a reason why ND wasn’t shyt before he got there.
Mark Richt was at Georgia from 01-2015. Saban’s dynasty didn’t start til 08. Kirby seems to not be having that problem…

I remember a magazine I picked up back in like 2004/05looks about right
The list was something like
1. ND
2. USC
3. Bama
4. scum
5. OU (or Nebraska
6. OSU
7. Nebraska or OU
8. UT-Austin
9. PSU or Tenn
10. Tenn or PSU
11. AU
Last ~20 years have shook the ordering up quite a bit
IMHO PSU is not a top 10 program, I think UGA has as many titles the last 2 years as PSU has in its history of rhythmic clapping
