It doesn’t matter at this point. OSU doesn’t belong in the playoffs after Saturday. Can’t let the game get away like that especially at home. Got a lot to work on for next year. Hopefully finish out this year’s recruiting class strong, and get some young players some experience the bowl game.
you sound defeated my guy...it's like you typed this out sitting in front of a locker w/ the towel wrapped around your sunken shoulders. Better days are ahead

It’s weird as hell that all of a sudden he can call plays. I believe it was him because we still did too many end around plays. He just had a fukk it two minute offense.

Glad he gone one!
I'm seeing Kendall Briles and Garrett Riley as the top 2 name with Briles being favored over Riley....not sure I've seen Arkansas do anything spectacular to make me feel it's gonna be a great hire....

Let me ask you a question, do you feel like y’all have become more of a finesse team and the physicality isn’t there right now? If so how do y’all go about fixing that?

I find it interesting that the two best teams in the country are playing 2012 type ball.
It's crazy this year that type of football is just dominating even in the NFL...

On a local high school level, I've seen the spread teams get shut down but the teams are putting up 400 rushing yards in a game and winning...

TYRONE GA!
I would have Bama and OSU over USC even if USC won.

I don’t get this 1 loss USC team as a top 4 team

USC has beaten three currently ranked teams this year and their only L was on the road by 1 point vs the team they are playing again for the Pac 12 championship.

Yall have only 1 win vs a current ranked team and that's Texas at 8-4.

edit: Miss State is now ranked at 8-4.

USC absolutely is gucci with a win Saturday and absolutely are a top 4 team. Comeon fam. :beli:

Because the scales tipped TOO FAR in one direction (read option/spread). Made dominating the trenches not as important leading to "softer" linemen. Those teams that prioritize the trenches have a mismatch vs those that don't and you see what you see with UGA and Michigan. There's something with just punishing people up front and daring you to stop it. Test that manhood. And since many schools have gotten away from that physicality, those that embrace it have an edge.

it is interesting because the valuation of RBs has not increased, likely because the view that a 'replacement level RB' can do as good as all but the BEST rbs, but the offenses are more balanced and a typical (classic) pro offense has proven to be effective in this new era.

Personally, the LACK of success of the air raid, and of MOST spread teams made me never favor those offenses. IMO, the reason is because you end up spending so much recruiting capital on your necessary 3 five star WRs and mobile QBs, rather than spending that capital on dogs in the trenches, and cornerbacks. This is anecdotal by my own observation :hubie:

We were fine physically. Them nikkas had 10 yards rushing in the 1st half. Db’s kept getting cooked and it all just fell apart. Penalties and just being undisciplined had a lot to do with it to.

I don’t know about this

UGA defense was better in the trenches last year and got absolutely torched when they finally played a good offense

OSU been soft with a bad defense for a while now
