It’s crazy Clemson peaked on Trevor Lawrence freshman year. That 2018 team might be top 10 team ever, 2019 they were championship caliber but not as good at 2018, and 2020 was vastly inferior to the last 2 years

Clemson had that 5 star D-Line and crazy good receivers in 2018 which helped them tons.

Alabama and Clemson will be in slight rebuilding mode in 2021, the only thing is, is there a team in their conferences that can step up and dethrone them?

The SEC has UGA, A&M, and UF as surefire contenders and the ACC has UNC (and maybe Miami?) as a challenger to Clemson.

I remember some in the media acting like it was over and Clemson was the new Alabama in 2018.

Clemson still one of the best programs in CFB don't get me wrong tho

i think we get spoiled by Alabama, but realistically a lot of schools windows open and shut in 4-6 year increments, and it’s no shame in that,

but realistically given Bamas run, how many you think your program swipes from them in the next 10 years??? How many sec chips ?? You think ol fred flintstone will be closer to 2019 or this past year ??

it’s so much that goes into getting you a chip a lot of folks don’t realize, and step one having horses, most programs will get a few killers but consistently year to year the same level, not likely
Then it’s coaching which really separates the wheat from the shaft

how long Elliot and Brent can stay there before either lack of certain talent or just play calling gets stale ???
