Yea that ringer mock is pretty bad. This draft is pretty wide open thoughThat mock
I'd rather the Celtics trade every pick for cash considerations than trade up for Achiuwa

His overall 3-pt percentage are his IBSL games and Euroleague games combined. He had completely different roles, minutes and touches in each, and it was his first full-time season in the top league, playing with grown men. He grew into a role even in the domestic league (he wasn't automatically just given the keys), hence why when he starting getting consistent minutes and established a main role in the team:Based on what? He hits shots when he hits shots? But when he doesn't, its not really his fault?
His %s are not good. Its okay to say his %s are not good.![]()
lot of juelzing... this is some espn shyt where they look for home splits, in the month of june, while the player's mama is in the stands to find the absolute best brush to paint a picture withHis overall 3-pt percentage are his IBSL games and Euroleague games combined. He had completely different roles, minutes and touches in each, and it was his first full-time season in the top league, playing with grown men. He grew into a role even in the domestic league (he wasn't automatically just given the keys), hence why when he starting getting consistent minutes and established a main role in the team:
"Post-COVID he shot 41% from behind the arc (5.6 attempts per game) and 72% from the FT (4.1 attempts per game) in the rest of the regular-season games."
In his Euroleague games, he was utilized entirely differently, where he would only play half the minutes, coming off the bench, used sporadically, and often for defensive purposes. It's the reason why his shooting percentages read as they do because his minutes were up/down all season and his role/touches ran parallel to that.
You can't expect someone who's 18/19 to have level shooting when they're put in all different types of spots with erratic touches all season long.
Cough cough lonzoYea Deni's shot will be fine. All these teams wouldn't be drooling over him if they thought he was gonna be a 25% 3 point shooter and bad FT shooter
Lol he just had an almost unfixable shot. But even he shot it nice from 3 this year. Deni's shot is nice he just has to keep working on itCough cough lonzo
How the fukk can you equate sporadic minutes and different roles to this dumb shyt?lot of juelzing... this is some espn shyt where they look for home splits, in the month of june, while the player's mama is in the stands to find the absolute best brush to paint a picture with
its okay. he's not a shooter yet. maybe he will be, maybe he won't. the form is there so who knows. you ain't gotta roll out of bed slinging negs, butthurt, proving to everyone you still crazy
He lit up Deni's team a few months ago and made Deni look bad a few times
2020 Draft Prospect | Yam Madar | NBA.com
If Yam Madar can bulk up he's gonna be a great defender w/ 2+ steals per game
- Displays very active and quick hands on the defensive end of the floor, coming up with steals. Madar needs to add strength to be more effective in defending stronger opponents down the lane and to keep improving his defensive presence on the floor.
- In 21 games in the Israeli league last season, Madar contested the perimeter well, limiting his opponents to 23-for-69 makes from long distance. He has the potential to be a good man-on-man defender thanks to his quickness, active hands and competitive spirit.
Yam showing off his full repertoire in a game a few days ago. That block at :32then the and 1 from behind the back board at the end
This kid has game, seems to have good vision and passing too
who do you see taking him?
All you gotta do is watch him shoot practice shots. I remember telling people John Collins will be a decent NBA 3pt shooter after the draft and he took NO 3pt shots much less mid-range shots at Wake. How the fukk can you equate sporadic minutes and different roles to this dumb shyt?
When he got a stable role and consistent minutes, which he only did in the domestic league, he was shooting above 40% from behind the arc. It's no coincidence that his high-level of play in this main role netted him the Israeli league MVP. You don't think young players need stabilization to perform consistently well? You don't think if young players get fluctuating minutes and drastically different roles/touches from game-to-game that their shooting percentages will reflect that?
Consistent role and minutes over generous sample size (IBSL) = Deni shoots above 40% from 3. That's what he proved.
I don't even see Yam as a 2nd rounder in this class but do you.Looks better theb deni to me .. maybe im watchin the wrong clips
But deni looks slow to me , bb IQ means only so much if u cant get past your man / stay in front and you are a liability ..plus a shaky shot .. ( he is right on being comfortable and confident in your shots ,and your conversion increasing - but does that mean if the Defense is 2 much for him he goin 2 go into a shell if he has a rough patch over a month in his rookie season )
Then again wtf i know about scoutin prospects..i thought ant davos would be the next narcus camby ..so theres that

Why notI don't even see Yam as a 2nd rounder in this class but do you.
This all comes back to you referencing his overall 3-pt shooting percentage of 33% and using it as the basis for insinuating he can't shoot. I told you that it doesn't give you an accurate representation of his shooting ability. If he played the exact same role, had similar touches, and played similar minutes all throughout the season, then, of course, you could use that percentage to make that argument. But that was far from the case.Remember... His Makes are to be taken at face value but only his misses need "CONTEXT"![]()
What does he do at an NBA level outside of defense? Why not
