At best Edwards is a slightly bigger Oladipo but yea I get Waiters/JR/Lance vibes. I rarely hear folk compliment his skill, it always goes back to "well he has a NBA ready frame":skip:

So far, I’m all in on Aaron Nesmith for the Celtics :ehh:

What would you say are the odds they could package their picks to trade up or do you think he’s there at 14? @tremonthustler1

He is a skilled player. I just don't know if he's skilled enough to do work at the NBA level. He doesn't do anything particularly bad on offense, but his efficiency is a concern. My only problem is that I see a good player that's ready on day 1, but not a superstar caliber player.

When I see LaMelo Ball and Jaden McDaniels I say "man if the right team gets him he's a star one day", I don't really feel that with Edwards. We'll see though.

What is he skilled at? Cant make plays at all, just ok on defense, poor 3pt shooter. He can play above the rim and finish and his handles have promise

Shot selection is :trash: and he has no feel for the game

Reminds me of a smaller Wiggins

It’s not impossible to move up to get him. I doubt he lasts to 14 if his medical check out.

I could see Washington move down or Sacramento move down if it means getting an extra pick

Yeah Washington was the team I had in mind.

As it stands Celtics have 13 guaranteed contracts on the books for next season and 3 FRPs so something’s gonna have to give

Kind of warming up to Vassell at 5. Cavs need a defender in the worst way
Isn’t he purely a 2 tho ? Y’all already got that sexton ,KPJ thing going on . Wouldn’t he just be overkill at the 2?

I like Okoro for y’all ,bigger body , gain more positional versatility defensively and playmaking but isn’t the shooter Vassell is

I’m not sure I thought he was labeled a 3 & I read that the Cavs have him number 4 on there big board. I’m a have to check out Okoro

I only hesitate for the Cavs in that y'all still have Osman and you have Porter who they like and Dylan Windler who hasn't even played yet.
Osman isn’t good enough to stop Cleveland from drafting anybody at this point. Windler has been out the whole year. Hopefully he can contribute next season because he was good in summer league before the injury. Cavs played Porter at 3 different positions last season so I don’t think it would effect there decision that much.

For the Hawks: My list is this:
1. Obi Toppin - Fits how we play, gives us a legit backup for JC with the potential to be a lot more.
2. Deni A. - Shows potential to be an excellent playmaking forward as a defensive 4.
3. Okoro - Big wing with potential to be very good
4. Patrick Williams - Big wing with potential be a 3&D big wing
5. Hali - Top tier backup PG with potential to be a good starter
6. Hayes - Top tier backup PG with potential to be a good starter

2nd round:
1. Payton Pritchard- Top tier 3rd string PG with potential to be a good backup PG
2. Malachi Flynn- Top tier 3rd string PG with potential to be a good backup PG
3. Grant Riller- Top tier 3rd string PG with potential to be a good backup PG
4. Markus Howard- Shooter
5. Cassius Winston - Baller
6. Nico Mannion - Passer and Shooter who's raw.

Trades or FA:
1. Looking for free players who provide shooting and depth on reasonable deals.
2. Shooters - Looking for markman off the bench
3. Defenders - Looking for defenders off the bench

Not too big of a fan of using the draft to fill that need. The Cavs defensive identity will be naturally weak because the best players on that team are weak defenders, one or two guys brought it won't be able to fix that because they are the best players on the team and have to stay on the floor.

Cavs will only see a turnaround on the defensive end if they either get a better defensive big than Andre, trade Love for a player who can defend, or move Sexton/Garland for a defensive SG/SF. If they don't plan on doing that, I think they should just keep adding firepower on offense.

Isn't moving the needle?

bro we were projected to win less than 10 games this year - Graham was doing so much that we had to bench him to start losing :mjlol:

in what world do you have a 2nd round pick break out as the MIP - and you draft an immediate replacement? rozier ain't even bad either. so the backup position is set too

we have no starting center or wing scoring :unimpressed:

I want wiseman on the Hornets. Devonte averaged 8 assists with having to play P&R with Zeller and Biyombo. Would love to see what he could do with a potential great big
