:dwillhuh: There is only one ball. Portis, MacGahee, and Gore were 1, 2, and 3 on the depth chart.

:comeon: Sir they all had chances to tote that tater, meanwhile at the U it was a one man band until the bell cow got tired/it was your year to be the man add to the fact frank got hurt
Portis 01
magahee was 02
Gore finally in 04

at no point were they really in the same backfield

Run DMC 1800 Jones 1100 Hillis 300 all in 07

Back in the day we used to have two rivals, Tennessee and then Auburn.

Tennessee was our LSU and Auburn was our Auburn.

Tennessee has fallen so bad but it's still fun to watch them suffer
The way Tennessee recruiting, they might start challenging y’all again
Nope. Miami had Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore, and Najeh Davenport.
We damn near had the best backfield. At one point we had Ronnie Brown, Cadillac, and Brandon Jacobs at the same time but Brandon ended up transferring

man if they really had a chance to use all 3 (not saying they limited Jacobs caddy was so damn dynamic you didn’t want him of the field brown either, it’s hard to be a three headed monster) or Jacobs actually was patient, could you imagine Jacobs getting a season as the man in the backfield nikka went to the league, but he was thuggin it out at southern Illinois :smh:

like i said a true 3 headed monster

Here’s an interesting thought how many great three headed monsters have we had ?? Minnesota with maroney and barber and the other dude, Colorado with purify, brown, and the third nikka, Old Nebraska in the 90’s has some

UGA had Sony Michel, Chubb, and Swift a few years ago. Also if you counting QB’s in a 3 headed monster then Auburn had Cam, Michael Dyer, and Onterrio McCalebb all rush for 1000 yards at the same time

Auburn also had Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams, and Brandon Jacobs.
