@Buckeye Fever Y'all were in must-win mode last night. Dope game. Probably eliminates Nebraska for good. Saturday at IU will be tough, IU clicking some and Assembly Hall is always a tough environment.

I think even with a loss vs. IU you can get in with 2 wins in B1GT. Might need some help by having Texas, UNC, etc. type teams lose.

Indiana insider said a few weeks ago the word is Oats wants the KU job. But his buyout is too crazy right now.

Yeah, gonna need help if they lose in Bloomington. Seems like after Woodson announced he wouldn't be coming back next season, they started playing well

And it looks like UNC is starting to pick it up a bit.

With all of this conference realignment, it will be interesting to see how early conference teams meet up in the tournament.

Oats has the best job in America

I know you're biased af, but there's a lot of truth to this. Football will take almost all the heat off Oats, he's already proven he can recruit and win there, and outside of prestige, there isn't much KU can offer that Bama couldn't in 2025. Jobs like UNC, KU, UK mattered more previously b/c you couldn't consistently get the caliber of players needed to win titles at other schools. NIL evens the playing field.

bragging rights and (if you don't like them) an opportunity to bag on auburn, i guess
very impressive run, but i will never like their coach (nothing against the players/fans/etc)

Come on breh..salute to the SEC for caring about hoops now but that’s a delusional take. Duke, UNC, KU, UK, UCLA will always matter and be the jobs in college basketball.

I'm not saying they're not the best jobs. I'm just saying they aren't as attractive as fans think.

You can make the argument UK is the premier job, same with Duke or UNC. But at worst UK is #3 and better than bama and Baylor which both coaches decided to stay at.

You called that. I didn't watch but this game, the next and the SECT don't really mean much to Auburn. Barring some mayhem y'all are a 1 seed lock. Win 2-4 more games and you'll probably be #1 overall seed. ACC won't get that kinda love this year. 16-3 vs. Quad 1 is insane.

Yeah this A&M team sucks offensively, but they still got as much "want to" and hustle as any under Buzz. Auburn didn't have the fire to compete with them from the very beginning of the game. Them dudes didn't want to match the level.

I think he’s done after next year. He wants to coach Peterson badly from what I’ve been told. After that year it’s up in the air.

I personally don't see the point in leaving if you can recruit and win at a championship level where you're at.

Now if someone is an alum of a school or has some ties there, then it makes more sense.
