the fact that they functioning as a conference is a miracle, yep the American fukked them by plucking their best, but realistically the best from the Mountain west, wac, sun belt, aac, and conf USA need to team up and create a super conference to get a better shot at the playoffs

maybe maybe not, but i think if they form up like voltron that’s more money, more concentrated talent, and a more battle tested teams, it would lead to a team making a bigger case imagine Cincinnati that beat app state Tulsa coastal Carolina and a few other squads.

Better quarterback at Clemson: Watson or Trevor?

Watson...and it's not close. How special he was?... they trusted him to audible and call plays his Sophomore season. While he had better WR talent...he could take a game over and will the team.

As talented as Trevor is.... he missed a bunch of passes & RPO (see below) that would have changed the feel of the game. I also saw him getting consoled on the sideline when Watson would have been motivating the team.

Example...the overthrow to the T.E. (easy TD)

1st down...he keeps the read when the correct read was to give it to ETN

2nd down...he gives it to ETN when the correct read was to keep it.

3rd down...he forces it to EJ Williams on the sideline when Powell was wide open underneath and was an easier throw.

Different possession....Amari was streaking open on a similar route Olave ran...he forced it to Galloway for a decent gain.

Watson is legit one of the greatest College QBs of all time, or at least the best QB to never win the Heisman. Watson showed up in every single Playoff game he played in, Trevor hasn't really been special in the Playoffs since he beat us in the title game.
