From 4-8 to an 8 win season the next year? :patrice:
Not saying it’s impossible but
Didn’t know the fan base expected that much by next year
It might happen. Let’s look at the past decade

Auburn 3-9 in 2012, 12-2 and national runner-ups in 2013

TCU 4-8 in 2013, 12-1 in 2014

Georgia Tech 3-9 in 2015, 9-4 in 2016

MSU 4-8 in 2016, 10-3 in 2017

Notre Dame 4-8 in 2016, 10-3 in 2017

Fresno State 1-11 in 2016, 10-4 in 2017

Baylor 1-11 in 2017, 7-6 in 2018

Cincy 4-8 in 2017, 11-2 in 2018

Syracuse 4-8 in 2017, 10-3 in 2018

I'm now ready for college football!!!!

I'm not expecting miracles from Alex Grinch but I would like to see improvement in the play-calling area. He has been, so to speak, wheeling and dealing to get this defense right, but I don't know if this defense will be any better than last season with the talent currently present. Ranking won't matter to me much, but I would like to see OU keep opponents between 20-25ppg. Time will tell.

The offense... should be nasty provided that Hurts is consistent with his passing the entire season. Add in the fact that he is a homerun threat running the ball AND he has a TON of weapons, OU shouldn't struggle to score from anywhere on the field.

Special teams... I wonder who the new kicker will be?

Y’all won’t be doing too much kicking anyway so it won’t really matter
